GardenOfGod: Inferiority complex to who? You sound ridiculously stupid. An Igbo man has no reason to feel inferior to any other race. Actually, it's the opposite. |

BKayy: I guess the Ime Udoka is Ibibio. Igbo, Ibibio and Annang have close culture. There are names in Ibibio which sounds like Igbo such as Udo and Udoh. Even Okorie and Imo are such names too. |

tegrianonigltd: Bio is written by human beings, not God… America and Nigeria are POLITICAL CONSTRUCTS, not ethnicities. Meanwhile, what do you think any NBA basketball player will gain materially from playing for NIGERIA? Even if the US didn’t call him up, he could just as easily have enjoyed his off-seasons rather than sweating his way through Africa. > 1 Like |

9jaRealist: You live in Nigeria probably well because of the privileges you have had, don’t compare to people born, without any spoon, no privileges, no means, who rose against all odds, you should be grateful you have had that, very very grateful... davido was also born in usa, it’s easier to live in Nigeria with a plan, resource be finance.. you should have lived with us in the 90s in warri to know what the trenches we call and talk about. You will never be proud to be a Nigerian. |

tegrianonigltd: That’s like saying that if you did not grow up in the ghetto, and/or experienced gun violence, that you are not American… Life is NOT a homogeneous experience, and not every Nigerian, or everyone born in Nigeria (not even everyone from Warri or actually born in Warri) lived in Warri in the 90s. Again, it is PRIMITIVE to think there is only one way to be a Nigerian or that people who did not live with you in Warri in the 90s are not Nigerian, or that there is even only a SINGLE authentic Nigerian experience. Btw, among my so-called “privileges” by choosing to leave the relative comfort of the US and relocate to Lagos is creating and building a business in Nigeria that gainfully employs many Nigerians in Nigeria, developing their talent, sharing my world-class experience, paying them good wages, and helping them support their families, paying taxes, etc. - all of these despite not having lived in Warri in the 90s. > |

tegrianonigltd: I will always be a VERY PROUD NIGERIAN! Not least because I understand that being NIGERIAN is as much what we do as it is who we are. So many people keep going on about Nigeria ad if it were some stand-alone entity, when we Nigerians are NIGERIA itself - and thus it is everything we do (or don’t do) that writes the Nigerian story and essentially determines what Nigeria is and/or it’s reputation, whether it’s Nollywood, Afrobeats, soccer, education, 4-1-9, Yahoo-Yahoo, etc. It is NOT a mere coincidence that Nigerians are such high achievers across the globe. Rather, we sit on the shoulders of centuries of shared experiences and values of achievement. We have an awful government and a rapacious political elite (unfortunately mostly supported by the so-called masses who worship, fight and even die for them and their selfish interest - including the idiocy of zoning aka chop-I-chop lootocracy), but the reality is that Nigeria’s condition is the culmination of the actions (by commission or omission) of ALL Nigerians - including the Itsekiri and Urhobo electing to slaughter each other in mindless fratricidal genocide over PRIMITIVE primordial sentiments. #TakeResponsibility > |

uglodoh:wingmanIII goodheart01 AutoRedux fantasy2018 obynzo BKayy Here is the meaning of Udoka above. Like someone else mentioned we pronounced Udoaka even though it's written as Udoka. Udo(h) = 2nd son, Udoudo/etukudo/Udoetuk/Udofia all = 3rd son due to different dialects of Ibibio. Udosen, Udoaka = 4th son depending on the dialect of Ibibio or Annang. There is No Igbo community in Akwa Ibom. Ika-Annang is not the same as Ika in Delta State. 1 Like 1 Share |

ibibiogrl: I detest people who exhibit crass ignorance and are still bold to talk rubbish. Oga look at the link below. There are indigenous igbo communities in Akwa Ibom https://thesouthernexaminer.com/akwa-iboms-indigenous-igbo-p1668-197.htm |

obynzo:U are WORST than Ignorant For using such a useless article as your source. Everyone knows Efiks are approximately 1million, compared to more than 5milion Annangs & almost 10milion Ibibios, yet that article claims Efiks are the majority. Also Esit Eket and Eket are a subgroup of Ibibios; yet that article claims otherwise. Even claiming the Efiks who are indigenous to Cross River State as being a part of Akwa Ibom. No wonder it's claiming villages in Abia state as part of Ukanafun. Ohaobu is a village in Abia. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_villages_in_Abia_State Villages in Ukanafun; https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ukanafun#:~:text=Today%2C%20Ukanafun%20is%20made%20up,%2C%20Ikot%20Akpa%20Idem%2C%20etc Go through my comments history, I said there is no such community in Ukanafun, I grew up in Abak the neighboring City of Ukanafun, have best friends from Ukanafun. They told me there's no Igbo community in Ukanafun I even asked the daughter of Paramount ruler of Ukanafun, she told me again that There is No Igbo community in Ukanafun. What U have are boundary villages, with the Annang people being bilingual with the neighboring Igbo dialect. 1 Like |
