If you are not vaccinated, you would need to show a negative test result before and upon arrival.

Hello, I also didn’t pay for lawyer verification, although my husband has a permanent resident permit and he is gainfully employed. I had my interview on Wednesday. Please what additional documents were you asked to submit? Is the time frame also 6-7months? I just want to know how to prepare my mind mentally for this waiting period. Thank you.

Well, it depends on your application category. Get to the embassy before 5:30 so you can be amongst the first set, for family reunion it takes more time. I got to the embassy by 5:30, I was number 6 on the line, number 2 for family reunion and I left the embassy around 1:30pm. I hope this helps with your plans.

I plan to read through the thread from the beginning to gather likely questions. But I believe they will be largely about your spouse, your marriage, his job & housing over there, your kids(if any), family/in-laws, etc. to find out how well you know each other and make sure the marriage is valid and not just for visa purposes.

I submitted one envelope for me and my kids because we had our interview same day, everything about the kids was under me. If their interview are on different days, different reference number, then it is expected that they each have their envelope. Does that then mean your daughter will pay another verification fee? I suggest you call the embassy tomorrow morning between 9 and 11 am to clarify.
Secondly I have seen a case of a woman and son, the son's passport was not ready as at the time of interview, the embassy told her to write them whenever his passport was ready, they will give her a date for the son and his documents will be combined with hers. You could still call the embassy to be sure of what to do.

Please are my going to pay for visa fee for a child of 6years old.if yes like how much.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! I am in the 7th week of waiting ie. Post blue card interview and yet no mail from the embassy but your testimony just encouraged me. I am believing God that very soon I will hear from them.
