Hello everyone,

I would like the kind input of those who have experience with the express entry route on my matter.

I have worked as a freelancer/contract staff for an organization for about six years but sadly the number of hours I work weekly does not meet the IRCC 40 hours/week requirements for it to be eligible for express entry though it’s my main source of income at the moment. On the other hand, I have a business I registered in 2016 but it hasn’t been active for the past three years. Can I claim job experience from the inactive business as my primary NOC and add the contract job as a secondary NOC? I would appreciate other suggestions too, thanks.

Pls ooo my people, I want to ask a question. I was having a discussion with someone who was nominated by a particular province. According to her application, she mentioned a particular city in the province where her sponsor stays.

Now, the bone of contention is that she will not be staying in that city indicated in her application but another, however she will maintain same PNP province.

Is it right?

I told her she MUST stay compulsorily in the city and province indicated in her application but she is saying her sponsor said it is not mandatory she stays in the city, however it is a must she must reside in the nominating province.

How true is this?

For a single mum who isn’t married and the child’s dad is refusing to sign over custody of the child, what should she do? IRCC didn't ask for 40hours per week. The requirement is 30 hours per week for full time and part time details are in this link from page 1. As well as other details on work experience.

Pls read page 1, you will not regret it.

Hello everyone. Thanks for all your answers here. You are really helping a lot of people. Just a small question this evening. I know the EE draw just returned, but can we tell on average how it takes from receipt of ITA till the recipient eventually leaves for Canada? Thanks for your responses.

I don't think anyone can tell you this truly. Application timelines range between weeks and years in some cases.

Please I can't access my EE Profile. Once I log in with my GC Key, I get directed to a Terms and Condition page and I click 'I AGREE'. Then I get directed to a page with where I click 'CONTINUE' and that's it. I go back to 'Home' and have to start all over and it becomes a cycle.

Am I doing something wrong?
