DIP BUYING STRATEGY
I backtested this system several times across BTC, XAU, GBPUSD and it held well. The strategy is this:
setup 1 - wait for the chosen pair to make two lower lows on the 4h chart with huge outside bars.
setup 2 -If you see 1 outside bar and a range of pinbars, wait for 20hrs to pick the low of the session.
Once you have two outside bars or one outside bar and the 20hr low of ranges following the outside bar - we shall call the two bars , exhaustion point 1 and 2 respectively.
The next step is this : buy at the very next support zone once you see consolidation. If you don't know support zones, subtract 1daily ATR from low 2 of the 4h bar, wait for consolidation on lower timeframes and buy. Typically, you will find buyers anywhere between 1-3 support zones away from the 2nd exhaustion point.

Here are an illustrations of setup 1:
The setup 1 of two outside bars was complete when the bar at 20k area closed. The very next areas to buy based on this strategy is at 19k and at 18k. The daily chart shows BTC ATR as 1000, doing the maths:
20k -1k = 19k
20k- (2*1k) = 18k
As you can see from the chart, BTC found buyers at both areas successfully. This is not always the case, but most times from my testing, I observed that buyers will, even in the worst situations, appear 2-3 ATRS or 2-3 support areas after setup is completed. This principle also applies for tracking reversals for uptrends as well.

Outside bar is also known as trend bar. They are typically large bars on the chart - bearish outside bar has its low very close to the close of the bar and vice versa. Attached below is an image - the second image to the left represents a pinbar. Bearish pinbars and trend bars would have a dark red colouration on tradingview typically.

No one is perfect with these things. That is why we use low risk- 1 or 2 % to account for these things.
As far as the good outweighs the bad, share am first.-who no dey lose for here? I don LOSE trade this morning - d thing VEX me, I come decide to reduce my risk limit henceforth from 2% to 1 % based on say d market na werey itself- before i come quietly take this trade wey u dey see here.
