So I've been tracking my passport since I captured on July 28 (at Alausa) and it's been stuck at the final stage since the very first day but today I checked and it's showing no progress at all. What could be wrong? Do I need to go the passport office or could this be a sign that the passport is ready?

So I checked at the NIS office and it was not ready. They said they just started working on July so I should check back in 2-3wks. So if you captured in June at Alausa, you should probably come and check. It might be ready

I had the same issue . You will pay 15k via remitta and also do court affidavit

You will have to reschedule your appointment , it takes more than 3 months but you can fast track it . I paid 25k for fast tracking

To the best of my knowledge NIM validation after being acted upon is within 48 hours.
Validation is free, in my own case, the woman that attended to me in their Branch office asked me to go the head office or send my details to someone there to help me do it or if I don't have anyone I should buy card for her to help me send the details to her contact in head office to validate it for me, of which I agreed that should send it. I gave her #500 for recharge card and was very happy and the validation was successful after just two days

You should go to their local government office closed to you not accredited agent they will handle it for you. If you can do it tomorrow better

I used the nin for passport the next day and they verified my file. I also used my nimc mobile app to check if my Nin correction has been updated.

Typically I'd rather wait but at this point my passport has been in production since 9 weeks after capture now and I need it before late October so I'm looking for alternatives.

If any of you know any contact that can fast track in Alausa after capture please let me know.

Yes you can start processing mine expiring November and I have already applied going for capturing next week. Officially you can request for renewal once it’s 6 months or less to expire
