You guys throw economics to the dogs.

Corruption isn't the cause of rising dollar but a lack of productivity and even government policies.

Try to update yourself.

Abi pound wey lose value this week na because of corruption?

Oga, Nigeria's case is very different....

Afterall he also said high forex rate ie the devalued naira does not affect ordinary Nigeria's as they don't travel, they don't need dollar or pounds, all they need is thir agbado, cassava, ewa and dodooo available locally. So cbn should print more money.

You must be a stranger... Maybe a foreigner to make this kind of statement. Even Gov. Wike pointed out last year that Buhari instructed CBN to print notes.
mayo47:
Dont believe everything you see on the internet/Google. The news published about Naira printing. Did it state it was an "additional printing of money" or the usual exercise for money printing. Moreover its funny, how you compare the CBN reply and that of tinubu considering the timeframe. Do you know how often, the volume and value of naira printing annually? You need to ask yourself question before jumping into conclusion

NB: I am not a Tinubu supporter but like to be quite objective with the use of critical thinking

And someone will tell me that Buhari and APC have been fighting corruption.

This is the most corrupt government in history since the name Nigeria was even thought of

So it's only Buhari and APC that have the responsibility of fighting corruption in Nigeria?

I think unimaginative people that ground any economy.

A society that makes money (Wizkid produces records hence he is rich) does much better than one that doesn't.

And if 90% that money is stolen by wizkids manager, how long will wizkid last in the music industry and how well will he fare in life, if wizkid does not sack him the guy will ground wizkid, corruption, Buhari is not making people around him accountable to anything...

Wizkid manager cannot steal all the money because it isn't paid into his account.

I know Nigerians love to beat around the bush.

Since you've been seeing Wizkid, Olamide, psquare etc. Have you seen any of them crying over their finances?

Do they have degrees in finance?

Yet their money is in order.

Do you think they've never been cheated before?

Imagine a mai guard saying if not for the oga wey cheat am e for don be billionaire.

That's the excuse Nigerians give.

If you produce nothing, you remain poor.

It's as simple as that.

The little that we are selling(oil) what have they done with the money? it is now bigger that they will not loot finish, that is even the reason why they cannot get to do bigger sales, there is a saying that says: he who is faithful in little will be faithful in much...

90% of the loan were fraudulently taken/accessed by staff of CBN either in their Agric Department or in connivance with other CBN staff. They snapped other people's farm lands and prepare fraudulent documents to take out the loans. I worked there waay back and I know what I am saying.

Corruption sti.nks at CBN.

Look I am not justifying previous administrations either, I have never been a supporter of PDP except in 2019 for Atiku because he was a better option to Buhari, I've criticized from OBJ down to Jonathan, but Buhari is the worst of them all even when people expected him to be the best since he was hyped as a disciplined person...

This is just your own opinion, until we compare facts and figures with previous administration, you can't tell who is the worst.
And I can also tell you no other government has fought corruption like this Buhari has been doing going by the number of cases uncovered and being prosecuted.

Before, people do get away with govt. money in Nigeria.

Now, is getting so hard especially because of BVN and NIN.
