Speculations have raged that Victor Osimhen will recover in time for Tuesday night’s UEFA Champions League clash at Ajax.

Should the Napoli striker make the Ajax game he will come face-to-face with Super Eagles defender Calvin Bassey.

Osimhen suffered a muscle injury in a Champions League Group A opening clash against Liverpool on September 7.


Doctors have suggested he will be fit by the Serie A match against Cremonese on October 9, but reports said Osimhen’s recovery has been ahead of schedule and he could now be ready for action earlier than then.
