You know what, let the loan apps make the money interest free, as in take and return exactly what you took. You will still find out this same people wount pay but rather give all sorts of excuses to demonise the companies.

Yes, they offer regular loan just like other banks too, but their specta approach is to eliminate the issue of collateral which is a MUST on a regular loan. Just visit any of their branches to find out more information.
As for the specta loan, you don't need to have an existing account with sterling bank before you can apply, as a current account will be opened for you in the process. The only thing they use to determine your eligibility is your credit score report by uploading your 6 months account statement from your existing bank account with other banks in case you are not their customer at the time.
