I actually don’t care too much about debt.

But they should show us what they did with it. That’s the main thing.

Debt shouldn’t be a stigma so long the result can be seen.

Very big failures we have got in the south south. My state Bayelsa, has never produced one good governor since its creation. Gov Dickson promised to make Bayelsa become Dubai, at the end of his tenure, he only should us that he has a very big pr#ck, and that we should call him "ofrima pepper". Now Gov Diri own na to do " Thanksgiving service" every Sunday and call his administration "miracle" govt without doing anything in the state. We are cursed with bad leaders in the south south. These leaders are purposefully sabotaging our developments. There is no reason the south south do have a functional and international level seaport and airports; Aldo there is not reason why the oil companies operating on our lands did not situate their corporate headquarters here. Our leaders are really wicked. I have had assassins sent after my live for speaking against my own leaders in Bayelsa state. But I am not scared. These wickedness have to stop.

Ogun borrowing might be Genuine..

but Delta and Lagos borrowing are undoubtedly to prosecute 2023 Elections.

Okowa has borrowed for Atiku and Tinubu has borrowed as usual through his "TV remote" Sanwo Olu.

The two states are rich states and have no reasons to borrow apart from borrowing for the selfishness/greediness of the Governors.

My friend our problem is corruption even if NIGERIA makes a trillion dollar in one day it will still be looted

I guess we only count revenues from crude alone,. We are too ignorant in this country

Do you even know the amount NIGERIAN wharf makes in a week.

I stand by what i said.

Plus i am not implying corruption is not a problem, and i seriously find you implying i deny it is wrong

Nigeria needs to ve earning somethings like 100 trillion naira annually, then we can see the benefit.

And yes, we rely on oil.

What an ironically pathetic state of a country!

While all other Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) members are smiling to the bank, Nigeria is living on borrowed robes calling itself "Giant of Africa"!

In economics and international trade there's what's called " area of comparative advantage".

The irony is that instead of taking advantage of the oil and gas sector, we would rather export at a comparatively lower price only to import the finished products at a much higher price, thereby exerting so much pressure on the naira and plunging the nation into avoidable debts.

Chai!

Our so-called leaders are simply evil to say the least.
