What in God's name is happening to us as a country? So policemen now kidnap those they are meant to protect, forcing them to part with their money? |

Those police men should be sacked from the police force. The worst police in this world is Nigerian police. I had my experience in Ibadan, I was lucky to be a military personnel if not I wouldn't be alive today. |

If nothing happened to the police they will do it next time. It's just like retrieving your valuables from an arm robber robs and asking him to go. He will definitely repeat it if there are no consequences 1 Like |

I was once a victim. I was descending down Oshodi and a call came from a client that I have been pursuing for long. I did not have my hands-free with me and i immediately picked the call. I did not know that a police team in black jeep was following me. They wore a tag, "anti-one way" from the office of the Governor. They blocked me and insisted I settle them. They were all looking mean and I was already tensed, not wanting to miss the appointment with the client that just called me and neither was I feeling safe in the midst of those policemen. We drove to the Diamond Bank branch close to the Northwest filling station along that Oshodi expressway and gave them N100k, which was what they insisted on collecting and I zoomed off. 1 Like |

Kudos to Nigeria Police Force, but what about many that are stealing with suit and tie in various ways. It has become an endorsement in Nigeria if people don't steal aside their hustle they can't survive. This is bullshit. 1 Like |

asanausana91: Same way some Nigerians are dead now because of their encounter with over- zealous military personnel. At least Nigerians can still remember the case of the motorist beaten blue black in Badagry last week by Naval officers who blocked a road with their vehicle while in a drinking joint. Police, Army or whatever, ALL of you are the same. |
