Same government with disregard for court order is now seekin enforcing it. Lol.
N3TRAL:
If they refuse, the Federal Government should enforce the Judgment of the Court by deregistering them grin

The government should not stop at that.

Vice-chancellors must account for hundreds of billions worth of TETFUND grants they have embezzled.

The lecturers must also write apology letters to students and add 20 marks to the score of students because you cannot stay 8 months at home blocking highways and bullying online without forgetting what you were taught in January. It should be a criteria for paying them the 8 months salary they didn't work for.

For more than 40 years, ASUU has shattered the dreams of great Nigerian students.

Below is a picture of ASSU strike being called off in 1981. My mother had just started Primary School in 1981. 41 years later a useless congress of indecent academicians are still frustrating students.

You are petty too supporting injustice against the poor and suffering masses, as exemplified by ASUU, by a devilish government.

The ASUU is peopled by a principled lecturers with great dreams for the young wards under their care, and not swayed by their immediate entitlement and needs.

Not unlike some people here acting as anonymous spokesman for a government from the pit of hell.

God's unfailing judgement awaits you all.

That quote is misleading coz that Section is talking about something different.

ASUU can't appeal to Supreme Court bcoz their Appeal is still pending before Court of Appeal. What the court determined today is granting leave for ASUU to appeal but the leave is conditional.
thanks boss for The insights

Strike under Obi is normal activity. Doctors in Anambra went on 13 strike when he was a Gov. ASUU , anambra state chapter went on 7 months strike. No package Obi for us here

They have option of resignation if they are not pleased with their work. Many of them will eventually lose their job after this judgment. I am not supporting federal government but ASUU is inconsiderable. There's no sector or federal government workers that are being treated better than ASUU.

bcs orthers are not treated well, ASUU should fold its arm and be watching fg stealing trillions daily, how about u stop working bcs orthers are unemployed

ASUU is from hell for using students and keeping them at home for 8 months to press home their demand of 180% salary increment

Will the 8 months wasted come back?
How about the people that were supposed to have graduated during the period of this strike.

I think the new semester afresh is better, cheesy
Or that all the lecturers will migrate to Havard and Cambridge,
Or they can resume to teach the national anthem grin

This is stale now. So the “principled” lecturers don’t have any other way to press their demands except strikes?

“Great dreams for young ones under their care” but they have allowed the so called young ones to be at home for 8months and counting and 9 months back in 2020?

What will students gain from their salary increment and utas?

Cmon! Nigerians are wiser now.

They don't need to go on strike to achieve that.
ASUU should stop lying and deceiving nuc officials during accreditation exercise.

They should be opened and allow any program lacking in areas of infrastructure and equipment to lose accreditation. That way the VC and senate will be forced to act to get it back.
Lecturers are fond of rigging the process but will be the first to start crying about inadequacies once the officials are gone.

Firstly, nobody wants to loss his or her Job when it comes to accreditation of some courses by NUC.
Secondly our University system is poorly funded with inadequate or no instrument in many departments.

Finally, the gap between political appointees and that of academians salaries is heartbroken but in all I blame the government for reaching agreement which they never met

They are also quick to hide under this guise to present their selfish demands.

ASUU main interest is to be on huge salaries to live luxurious life, even though that's not bad but they can't continue to waste students time to try and achieve that.

So they stand gidigba behind their lecturers, who are not lilly livered like some people here. Who preach what they cannot take from anyone else.

You are not up to date.
2015, $10 was still 2k naira.
So if bad governance is enough for Nigerians to look the other way, Buhari has done more than enough even before his re-election.

Many of us are against this government on a normal day, but as far as this ASUU strike is concerned we are on same page with fg.
They should torture ASUU till ASUU become sensible that you can't approach a problem with another problem.

If they are fighting for a huge salary in this bastardised Nigerian economy, they deserve it.

That is why other professionals, like medical and tech, are leaving the country enmass to favourable climes.

The country has been turned to a leaving hell by your Buhari government.
