They are stubborn and politically motivated, they won’t resume just to make APC look bad forgetting that they signed the agreement with PDP government. Goelpus.

Let’s hope the lawless body called ASUU will obey the court of appeal this time around.

ASUU is an irresponsible body and I’m glad the FG finally called their bluff. FG should immediately order VCs to reopen all federal universities on the strength of this judgement and any lecturer that refused to resume should be disciplined in-line with public service rules.
Story, FG can't force ASUU without resolving the issues

If they refuse, the Federal Government should enforce the Judgment of the Court by deregistering them grin

The government should not stop at that.

Vice-chancellors must account for hundreds of billions worth of TETFUND grants they have embezzled.

The lecturers must also write apology letters to students and add 20 marks to the score of students because you cannot stay 8 months at home blocking highways and bullying online without forgetting what you were taught in January. It should be a criteria for paying them the 8 months salary they didn't work for.

For more than 40 years, ASUU has shattered the dreams of great Nigerian students.

Below is a picture of ASSU strike being called off in 1981. My mother had just started Primary School in 1981. 41 years later a useless congress of indecent academicians are still frustrating students.

ASUU powers needs to be clipped. Government most make sure they sign agreement of no work no pay this time around. That’s why they can comfortably go on strike for 8 months because they know government will still pay them . If Doctors are striking like ASSU Nigerians will be dying like flies .

If these ASUU senior men have their children In Nigeria schooling they won’t be offing like NEPA . Two months - three months strike is enough to ginger the government. Government must destabilize ASUU this time around their Wahala is too much .

ASUU will be heading to Supreme Court next

I hope the supreme court upholds the decision they won't shout APC too.

We reckon APC has had some Supreme court judgements against them.

E.g. Bayelsa state guber.

you can’t go to the supreme court if you didn’t go to appeal court.

and they have gone to appeal court and it asked them to resume before their appeal will be granted. if they must go to supreme court they must resume because that’s the condition to go through appeal court, then thereafter supreme court.

No Supreme Court here.

ASUU should resume work.

But another strike will commence b4 election next year unless government do the needful.
+++++++
It's actually a good thing for everything body, they should have resumed work after the industrial Court decision. Give the government benefit of doubt.
Even if we all know government won't do anything. But give students a chance to resume. Some of them might not be able to go to NYSC if this strike enter next year like this.

ASUU chairman publicly said on Channels television that Nigerians should vote out APC two weeks ago.

That man no doubt is funded by Atiku and PDP to maintain the strike

They just did.
But ASUU has said b4 that if Court force them to resume without anything, they will resume and then go back on strike after a while.

That the only permanent solution will be the government living up to its responsibility.

ASUU can borrow a leaf from FG and refuse to resume. Fg under APC has violated rule of law and refused most courts verdicts..

Besides, where are their 8 months salaries with adequate compensations.

Most of us knew that b4 general elections that. APC would use every crooked ways to compel ASUU to call off strike without honouring any agreements while recognising another academic body.

Mark our words: Nigerian students would tell ASUU not to resume until all agreements met and their salaries paid. They would continue up to the general elections in 2023, then sack APC GOVT and install Mr Peter Obi who would not only honour the agreements, but will also pay all salaries in arrears and ultimately REVIVE education nationwide. THIS IS REVOLUTION.
