A guy that isn't serious, gallivanting around the globe with the funds that are pumped into their campaign by gullible supporters, doesn't understand the simplest basic of economics which is demand and supply, graduated with a pass in philosophy, doesn't know what green energy stands for, performed woefully as the governor of Anambra State, etc. Mr Obi was the first governor in Nigeria that deported his fellow Nigerians from his state, calling them unprintable names. He even said it with his own mouth that he doesn't have any business with the North during his reign as governor.

Not that he is going to win 3 states, but for someone that will be representing the east, he ought to do better. Or maybe the east should present a better candidate next time.

Far better than Thifnubu who sleeps in different hospitals from France to UK.

And yet he has kept running away from all interviews and live programmes. The only few times he spoke in the recent past, he was talking about 50 million youth, agbado, cassava... You should feel ashamed supporting someone like that.

Which competency and track record are we talking about? Lagos has domestic debts worth nearly 800bn Naira despite claiming to be generating nearly 50bn monthly. Where is all the money going to?

Tinubu is stealing Lagos dry and you guys are praising him. Now you want to foist him on Nigeria to finish off whatever is left of the damage Buhari has done. God will never allow you people!

Agbado, cassava...He was talking about local production of food which we really need, afterall our agricultural sector is in comatose and all parts of the country should be producing food. Opponents just choose to twist his words because they have nothing else to use to campaign apart from lies and misinformation.

Like I mentioned in my post, you can't compare Anambra with lagos. Anambra is almost 30% of Lagos population. What of the industries in Lagos which pay taxes, corporate headquarters nko? What of land use charge , taxes on signage, etc. Here there are 3 airports, the largest sea port in Africa. Move just the sea port alone to Anambra and you think that state will remain the same in IGR? 90% of corporate headquarters are here.

That said, Lagos IGR during pa Jakande could be slim but he built the largest estate on Africa in less than 4 years without borrowing. Can you compare the exchange rate of the 80s with what we have now? People are always dodging this fact. 1m naira in the 80s is wprth over 100m naira today in value. So, if you hear billions of naira as lagos IGR, first ask, what's the exhange rate today, compared with what it was in the 80s when jakande did so much. They can't build such an estate today. They'd not be able to pay salary. He said he'd deliver the lagos lite rail in 8 years , which had taken tinubu and his boys over 2 decades to build. Unfortunately, his administration was taken over by Buhari's coup. He'd have delivered it.

Tinubu can't lay claim on the development of lagos. Government is a continuum. He came and did his bits. Were you here during marwa administration? That man worked meen! He constructed lots of roads on the mainland. I remember the AIT road in those days. I never knew he could remember such a remote place. I remember Marwa Gardens now MKO Gardens too. He opened up the CBD. Sadly, Tinubu said it was his blue print lol.

The so called lekki today was opened up by pa jakande. The jakande estate and bus stop is still there till date. He opened up epe Road too. But Tinubu said its his blue print. You got to lekki and widened the road, erected toll gates , how does that become your legacy ? Till death, jakande didn't own a single helicopter but Tinubu owns 3.

Lagos legacy can be credited to everyone who served in lagos, including tinubu

First of all, if population had anything to do with it, China and India will be the richest countries in the world.

In fact, Nigeria will be one of the richest countries on earth.

Before Tinubu became governor of Lagos state, there were industries and headquarters of industries in Lagos. There was abundant resources, but largely or poorly untapped.

That was why, despite the industries, Lagos was dependent on Federal allocation.

When Tinubu came, he saw the resources wasting away. How can a state have so much industries, and yet poor. Tinubu realized the problem. Poor taxation system.

He immediately began to sanitize the tax system of Lagos state, closing loopholes, making it difficult for tax evaders to continue to profit from the state without the state profiting anything.

Tinubu met a dependent Lagos, and left a wealthy, independent Lagos.

Sometimes I wish Obi was a core Muslim northerner. At least our Muslim brothers would have no reason not to like him, or fear that his administration will hurt them.

My support for Obi is the same support I expressed for Yaradua of blessed memory. He was a great Nigerian who believed in leaving Nigeria better than he met it. That is the same mould from which Obi is crafted.

Let's focus on nation-building instead of parochial interests.

God bless Nigeria!

Employ 50 million youth in the Army and what they will eat is agbado, cassava, yam sounds to you like a plan on how to boost agricultural production? Wasn't the statement made in reference to reducing youth unemployment? You're not knowledgeable at all.
By the way, is it the same agriculture Buhari and his aides claim to have transformed so much that farmers are all living big now?

Talking about Peter Obi, he saved Anambra money. Period. That is far better than stealing the money which is what Tinubu has been doing. Same Tinubu has put all his family members in juicy positions of government. That isn't corruption to you?
The best president Nigeria has had since 1999 was only known about his savings in Katsina. He led the most decent government, though short lasting.

Peter Obi isn't interested in playing the Nigerian brand of politics which is what has kept Nigeria the way it is now. That is why after his tenure, none of his family members or cronies were put into positions of power. Ordinary Obiano who was a failure in Anambra has projected his wife to be a senator after leaving office.

Peter Obi is the only past governor who doesn't collect any benefits from the state he governed. No pension or any entitlements from the coffers of Anambra till date. On the other hand, Tinubu collects billions worth of entitlements per annum and still claims 10% of all revenue generated in Lagos through Alpha Beta, aside from controlling all the wealth of Lagos.

You guys keep overhyping Lagos infrastructure. For crying out loud, Lagos was a former capital for over 70 years. It still receives most of the commercial benefits coming into Nigeria due to its status as former capital, port city and the most populated city and state in Nigeria. Many Nigerians that build large businesses site their headquarters in Lagos and that has nothing to do with Tinubu. Many of the modern infrastructure you brag about in Lagos are either private or at best PPP where the Government often times donates land.
Lagos is not even top 3 cities in Africa in terms of economy, it isn't top 5 in terms of infrastructure yet it is the most populous city in Africa. What's the hype all about?

Nobody hates Tinubu. He just isn't a good choice for Nigeria. If Fashola was the one contesting, there would certainly be far less support for Peter Obi.
Also, considering Tinubu's age, health status and choice of a Muslim as a running mate, I really don't know how you expect people who aren't Yoruba and Muslims to passionately support him.
