I really should stop viewing some of you people through the lens of mutuals I normally relate with on here, lol.

You're not a fan of Obi before, so I doubt if you'll see a trend of him always being strategic in his actions.

He could be doing this for the eyes of the international community staying on Nigeria's election this time around. If that many eyes are interested, any foul play becomes hard to carry out (or even a post-election riot breaking out).

He could be laying the foundation for his very high chance of becoming the country's president. An image cleanup and a positive for the country. Including you.

Foreign donations, especially, may go a long way. The more popular Obi is amongst them, the bigger the donations that may come in from the Diasporan Obidients in a legal way. They have much more to contribute in terms of funds.

A lot of other reasons.

And, I find it very laughable that you do not see how, barring everything else, this will contribute in its own little way to elevating the Nigerian Identity worldwide. Because show me a Nigerian politician that has stood before a lectern in Cambridge, Harvard and Oxford put together to speak to Intellectuals of the world? But no, you'd rather nitpick on him than find anything wrong with men who don't rate you enough to come speak about their ideas in a live interview to you on their own national TVs. One was even MIA for the first week of campaign.

(Outside of the upcoming election, wouldn't you ordinarily have commended his itineraries for the past 2 months? As he said, you may not 100% results with him, but you'll see 100% efforts, and so it is not necessary that YOU, you alone in particular, and perhaps others like you sef, see the need for his visits and talks.)

His projections are achievable, He has done it before with the meagre resources available to him and to the ignorant ones, you will shy away from comparing Nigeria and developed countries but still be comparing Anambra/Awka that was separated from Enugu in 1991 and to a glorified state like Lagos that was created in May 1967 not to talk of being the former capital of Nigeria.

All the performance indexes show that Peter Obi outperformed all of his fellow contenders as a governor but as usual, Urchins will be the first to mention track record and when you bring up statistics with head to head count, they all chicken out and go into hibernation to come out in the night like Bat to constitute nuisance.

Why junketting about to the UK that the value of it's currency has weakened against the dollar and is facing hyperinflation, including an impending recession? It is even illegal for politicians in the U.S. for instance to raise campaign funds or donations from foreigners.

But you will see so-called foreign observers monitoring Nigerian elections, and some low self-esteem dolts still think that is normal. Non of that happens in the
Western world.

Nigeria needs to raise the bar and stop politicians like Peter who went to give lectures at those 3 UK/U.S.
unis to stay put in Nigeria and engage Nigerians on the continent and in the Diaspora with his party's manifesto and practical implementation of policies. Same with the other politicians from other political parties. Period.
