The same gravity that pushed the plantain into the neighbors compound can also push it to the neighbors pot. It is as simple as X,Y,Z

A very simple matter.
There's a fence demarcating the two properties.
The plantain belongs to the property where the tree has its root.

Grammar na eim you dey speak. That is trespassing on the neighbors property and the neighbor can take any action which can be proven anywhere. The moral thing to do is to make peace with neighbor, harvest it and show the neighbor love with a token from it.

My friend don't be lazy, Go and use bamboo stick to strengthen the plantain stem. By this it will lean back to your compound.

We studied something like this in our English textbook many years ago. The Law is an ass or something like that. The neighbour can cut off the offending fruit but is not permitted to eat it.

According to land law, all that's on a land and above the land and below the land belongs to the owner of the land. If your neighbor decides to harvest it, it's by law his property. In order to avoid loss, pls elevate a platform from inside your house just by the plantain and adjust the fruit into your compound. Please don't go through his house if you know he'll cause trouble. Am sure this is simple enough.

Funnily there's a similar scenerio between I and my neighbor.Meanwhile the fruits are actually in my own compound.
People saying the banana belongs to where its rooted forgot that the root can actually breakdown the fence after sometime also

Whereevers clears it has the fruits...the person that planted it has d root..but the fruit has crossed it boundries..i can sue the planter for damages and make 60m from this case

So the owner will cut it and share part to another

Ownership would be 50:50 in order to be fair for these reasons:

1) the plant derives its nutrients from the uncles side of fence and was probably planted by your uncle -this accords your uncle 50%

2) the fruit on the plant his existing in the space of your neighbor and without which there may not be fruit -this also accords your neighbor around 50%

Inject the plantain with poison. Make you wipe the family so nobody go follow una drag plantain again in future.
