Kobojunkie: I believe it's not a sin although me personally I don't drink but you have to be moderate so you do something rash in your drunken state like Noah . |
Re: Q&A: Should Christians Drink Alcohol? by Kobojunkie: 10:19pm On Oct 04, 2022 |
Lawag3:Jesus Christ gave no commands regarding moderation so it is wrong to teach that as if of Him. Instead He left it to individuals to decide for themselves how much of it to enjoy for themselves. |

Kobojunkie: When did I say Jesus gave a command about moderation.it's the right thing to do. the bible says be moderate in all things. Jesus not talking about pornography doesn't make it good isn't it? |
Re: Q&A: Should Christians Drink Alcohol? by Kobojunkie: 10:35pm On Oct 04, 2022 |
Lawag3:Right thing to do is to obey God's very own commandment and Truth and since the Truth does not indicate moderation, it is not right to suggest it a part of the Truth as if to add to God's Truth. 1 Like |

You can abstain from drinking or you can decide to drink. However, if you decide to drink, don't get drunk. Drinking is not sin, but drunkeness is. |

AntiChristian: Although the bible doesn't condemn drinking directly it says all drunkard will go to hell it talks about moderation. Islam on the other hand condemn alcohol as a sin on earth and are allowed to commit that same sin in paradise? what's is the Muslim paradise going to be like? a place of sexual orgies and drunkenness? Maybe after you've have spent some time in hell which is compulsory for muslims this is Allah's way of compensating you. |

Lawag3: Just as Paradise is not like this Earth, the wine and other gifts are also perfect! Yeah sex is cool. Just as your God's sons in Genesis 6:1-4 left heaven to have sex on earth. God should have just provided sex for them. I wonder why he gave them John Thomas without a partner in heaven? It seems telling lies is now a Christian thing ? Where did you see drunkenness in the Muslim's paradise? And where is hell fire compulsory for all Muslims? |

Kobojunkie: Wow I didn't expect you to make this mistake anyway 1 Peter 4:3-4 – The past life of drunkenness and carousing has no place in the Christian’s life.’ Titus 2:2-3 – The older men and older women of the church are to be temperate and not addicted to wine. Timothy 3:8 – Deacons are to be worthy of respect and not drinkers Timothy 3:2-3 – Bishops (elders) are to be temperate, sober, and not near any wine. Thessalonians 5:6-7 – Christians are to be alert and self-controlled, belonging to the day. Drunkards belong to the night and darkness. Corinthians 6:10 – Drunkards will not inherit the kingdom of God 1 Corinthians 5:11 – If a Christian brother is a drinker, do not associate with him. Romans 13:13 – Do not walk in drunkenness or immorality. Luke 12:45 – Christ warned against drunkenness. Luke 21:34 – Drunkenness will cause a person not to be ready for the Lord’s return There are much more than this.the bible is against drunkenness . 1 Like |

AntiChristian: What The sons of God You are calling are angels and they took physical bodies which shows that they were not made with a penis your paradise is immoral . So do the alcohol in paradise doesn't intoxicate? My God so you don't know that Allah sends Muslim to hell just for being Moslem he sends you there until the judgement day when he shall inspect the mark of prostration on your forehead The Quran makes a shocking but clear statement that apart from "unbelievers," ALL Muslims will go to hell, first, before some of them are rescued, while the unbelievers and other unserious Muslims would remain there: There is none of you that shall not go there (hell) - this is the judgment your Lord has purposed. Then we shall save those who fear Allah, and we shall leave the evil doers in the fire on their knees (Sura 19:71-72).here is not one of you but shall approach it. That is a fixed ordinance of thy Lord. Then we shall rescue those who are kept from evil, and leave the evil doers crouching there. Maybe that's why Mohammed didn't know where he'll go and what Allah will do to him. Don't you read your Quran . |

Lawag3:Of all the sampled verses you lifted out of context, only two of them were in fact from the teachings of Jesus Christ, so let's carefully examine the messages in context, shall we?. A. 42 The Lord said, “Who is the wise and trusted servant? The master trusts one servant to give the other servants their food at the right time. Who is the servant that the master trusts to do that work?Notice the reason given for why the master would punish the servant, in verse 47. It has absolutely nothing to do with drunkenness or eating too much but simply that the servant did not do what the master wanted. B. 34 “Be careful not to spend your time having parties and getting drunk or worrying about this life. If you do that, you won’t be able to think straight, and the end might come when you are not ready.Again, if you carefully process what is written, it is, again, not doing what the master wants that will cause one to end up not ready when the master returns. Nowhere in any of the above did Jesus Christ decree that all those who get drunk will end up in eternal damnation. Instead, what Jesus Christ clearly taught instead is that all those who do not do as the Master demands, and are hence not ready when He shows up, will be damned by HIm. |

Kobojunkie: The question is were in the scripture is it written that drunkenness is a sin and the people will go to hell I gave you more than enough evidence and this is what you have to say wow just wow I have always thought highly of you now I'm just speechless I hope you are not a pastor . Because you are one of those many christians who are comfortable in sin and always justify it. I'm trying to make sure I don't justify any of my sins because at times I myself am also guilty of justifying some sins. |
Re: Q&A: Should Christians Drink Alcohol? by Kobojunkie: 5:48pm On Oct 09, 2022 |
Lawag3:Pay careful attention to the questions asked next time as there is a reason for why it is asked. 1. God is the one who defines for us what sin is, this is in His Law. No man has the power to add, change or remove from God's Law as in so doing such a man sins against God. Hence the reason why I clearly asked you where God or Jesus Christ, in their words, declared drunkenness sin. Nowhere did Jesus Christ, who was Himself accused of being a drunk and a glutton, condemn such acts as being sinful. Instead, what Jesus Christ made clear throughout His teachings is that those who do not do the Will of God, those who are not ready when the master comes for them, will be punished. 2. I am not one of many - I am simply one who prefers to obey God as He Himself stipulates, abandoning all the doctrines and ideas of men, which Jesus Christ warned over 2000 years ago were nothing but lies. As clearly shown in my previous post, nowhere in His Gospel did Jesus Christ suggest that anyone would be sent to Hell for being drunk. Instead, He made clear in both cases, that the primary reason why anyone would be condemned would be for not doing the work commanded of them by the master. |
Re: Q&A: Should Christians Drink Alcohol? by Lawag3: 6:25pm On Oct 09, 2022 |
Kobojunkie: Before I knew God I already knew right from wrong if what you called doctrines of men are doctrine of men why does it goes against most desires of men and I showed you were Jesus declared drunkenness a sin his disciples that were hand picked by him also called drunkenness a sin saying these doctrines which were preached by Jesus and his disciples are false doctrines is saying the whole bible is false.remember the bible itself was written by men inspired by God . |
Re: Q&A: Should Christians Drink Alcohol? by Kobojunkie: 6:41pm On Oct 09, 2022 |
Lawag3:That is the delusion that most men have, I am afraid. 1. Before you came to God what you were filled with where likely moral ideas of right and wrong. Jesus Christ is not of moral Law but of a higher standard than what are your moral Laws. 2. Nowhere in the entirety of the Gospels did Jesus Christ declare drunkenness a sin as even the passages shown earlier can attest to this fact. Drunkenness is the a sin, neither is attending parties, eating sin. Instead what Jesus Christ made clear is punishable crime is not ready when the master returns. It is against God to add your own ideas to that which is His Law. |
