Too short. Nigeria is too poorl to peg just 30 days to citizens of rich countries. The rich boys offer themselves 90 days, so I take it a nudge further by doubling it. Someone else mentioned security which I agree is a significant issue and can be tackled concurrently with easing visa application processes for citizens of wealthy nations.

You're correct. 90,even 180days won't be bad. My worry is that the longer the stay, the more likelier some abuse might happen.

I might be wrong on this but Nigerians in places like Malaysia exploit a liberal loophole though not this generous to stay and commit online scams.

I'm thinking of emigrating. I'm thinking of Portugal as you don't have to pay taxes on income as long as it is not derived from their soil. I'm hoping to become a digital nomad. UK would have been the better choice but no such rule exist and cost of living far more expensive, unless I stay outside London.

Compared to Malaysians, Nigerians are lawless people and generally criminally minded. They call it "smartness". So apples to oranges. I am yet to read where Malays are barred or have border restrictions imposed on them because they broke laws. Malays have almost free entry to fellow South East Asian nations but recently Ethiopia cancelled visa on arrival because of the activities of Nigerians there.

You have to be the digital nomad first before thinking of the country to emigrate to. I think to be on the safe side, you have to earn at least 30K dollars per annum. You could test the waters with Ghana and then think of Portugal. I would have recommended either Botswana or Namibia but those countries have stiff visa issuance policies for Nigerians, again because of how they behave(d). Ultimately, you have to be a profitable digital nomad first before anything else.

I was not referring to Malaysian citizens. I was referring to the "smartness" of Nigerian in Malaysia who have taken advantage of their immigration laws to settle there.

Ghana may not be bad. It might be a good option before jetting out to somewhere better. I'll need some extra capital for my digital nomad dteams to come through. I'm still working on it.

I see, but standard Malaysian immigration laws allow for permanent residency if followed accordingly. I would not call that smartness.

Best of luck in your quest!
