Guys if company A gives me tier2 sponsorship. And i resign from companyA to companyB. Will the sponsorship that companyA gave me still stand? Even tho company does not give sponsorship?
Or i have to keep working for companyA to retain my sponsorship

Sponsorship isn't transitive like VPCs in AWS grin

Simple terms, you have to keep working for Coy A. When you resign, the sponsorship ends

You Can switch to B if they have sponsorship too

Chai lol. Me self na awoof dey do me.

There is this last question i wanna ask brotherly.
My grandmum and my mum's sister (citizen of US) are in the US.
I'd love to pay them a visit during sch holiday here in the uk. What are the likelyhood that applying for visit visa to visited them in the US for lets say 3weeks will be granted?

My aunt is willing to write a letter
I will be staying with her and my granny
I can prove i will return to the uk since i've not completed my studies there and we are on holiday
I can throw a little emotion into the application that cus i've not seen my granny and aunt in over 10years that's why i wanna visit and they are willing to host me concerning accommodation and the likes

The issue now is this, i hear a lot of story that US deny uk international students who apply for visit visa into US. How true is this?

Do u think my case can be granted since i have a little it of tie here in the uk and a tie in us?
Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 2) by semmyk(m): 1:28am On Oct 09, 2022
What is apparent is that the denial can't be as bad as that of someone 'visiting' from back home (9ja).
If I recalled well, someone posted here, sometimes back, of how they went about visiting the US from here, the UK.
While you wait for response, let me quickly chip this in.
- How much of across the isle to Ireland have you done: say Dublin for long weekend
- How much of across the canal to Paris have you done or 'soak' up in Spain
- Or even week long (or two weeks tour of Europe)
All of these might add up. However, they are not absolute.

You may want to check the US visit thread: www.nairaland.com/5807124/usa-visit-visa-part-4/234#116079788

As a Nigerian on a UK student visa, Do I stand a chance of being granted a US tourism/Visit visa?

If you don't try....... You would never know....... Visa applications are granted on case by case basis.......... wink
Don't apply to travel term time and show you have evidence of self support (considering length of holiday)........

There is nobody in this world that can tell you the likelihood of this outcome ....America visa is always down to the Vo and the voices in his or her head.

You can only find out the outcome by applying to see which way it will go

That's deceit and lying to the authorities to enjoy benefits they weren't entitled to. We need to stop supporting things like this.

This is why our country is useless and we're all leaving. Imagine him supporting people doing sham marriages if they'll be law-abiding.

I think Sub-Saharan Africans are wired this way inherently, we only unlearn and get wiser as we grow, however, some refuse to grow even though they've moved to a "saner clime".

I applied for a US visit visa during my MSc study and it was granted within two minutes (I attended a conference though, so I related it to my research and study). Just go with the necessary documents, a letter from your university stating your current status, your relative, your BRP card, and your bank statement. A great tip is to apply through their Belfast office as they hardly deny it there. That's where all my friends did theirs and they approved it for us all. Also, try to make sure you have your appointment early in the morning and like the first or second they will attend to. Cheers!

Good evening everyone.

I know this page is for successful immigrants but I need help with my visa application for my kids. I don’t understand some things.

Pls what do I select here for my kids? POF for kids and husband is in my husband’s acct while I have mine in my own account.

Uk has far more than that, there are really good mid-range phones out there that can challenge house-hold names like iPhone and Samsung

Check Oneplus phones, Oppo, poco, xiaomi and the latest one called Nothing phone 1, these phones are all android and pretty good

If you're making separate applications, the answer is "No". Since the funds are in your own account so you are not relying on anyone else for the funds.

Same thing with your husband.

If you're making a single application then you'd have to select "Yes" because the totality of funds you have to prove is dispersed across accounts you control and ones you don't.

NB: This is my opinion based on what I can see in the screenshot. Hopefully someone else with more experience in this chips in, but you might have better luck asking on the visa thread.

Thanks so much for your input.
I just need you to clarify something for me please f i am not asking too much.

1) are you really sure having exploring other countries will help in boosting the approval rate of one's usa visitor applicaton?
Because on the ds160 form. I did not see anywhere where they asked someone to fill any country he has visited in the past.

So how would this really help someone's case.

Just like the case of invitation letter back in those days, we all feel its very crucial, not later on did we realize its not so necessary.

2) back in those days, people always say its more easier to visit usa from uk.
However, having gone through the usa thread on nairaland. I found out that be it you applying from nigeria or applying from uk the next appointment date will still be over 150days thereabout.

Why then do people say its easier to apply from uk as if it makes the appointment date earlier?

Or am i getting something wrong?

Thanks for ur input.

It's absolutely enthralling and morale boosting when you see and hear Nigerians leading the pack of good and positive feats.

It gives the ray of hope that everything is possible.

Congrats to the lad. Congrats to Naija.

Thank you.

This particular application is for my kids, mine and partners own was pretty straightforward.

I just want to be sure 3rd party doesn’t include my husband as their maintenance fund is in his own acct.

Thank you again.

Hiya,

Please what options are available to transfer dollars from a Naija USD account without withdrawing from the ATM?

I tried using Flutterwave but they said the Nigerian bank isn't the transaction. Wise isn't accepting Nigerian cards. Most international payment gateways don't accept Nigerian cards. It's just tiring.

Anyone with any idea, please share. Tanku!
