. even if the international flight was by 2.30 am..it's better to go to the airport early by 6 pm or 7pm.... going out or driving out in midnight 2 am in nigeria is very risky... with the insecurity everywhere

He came to drop his friend. He did that successfully, he was attacked when going back. He should have waited till 5-6am though

Handlers of Abuja city should be ashamed of themselves. Many state capitals in Nigeria does not joke with illumination not to talk of federal capital. What's wrong with our Northern brothers that are in charge of federal facilities? Managing international airports is also a problem for them, any small shaking they run abroad and they find it difficult to replicate same here.

They can’t manage even a canteen not to talk of city . I remember years ago when there was street light all over Abuja

I drive any time of the day.. But not between 2 and 5am in Abuja. However, if I have to drive within that time period, you will never see my back. If I feel I am being followed, I take different turns to be sure. I havent being followed to this day by the Grace of God.

Well let's hope it's a typo, because I find it hard to believe he actually boarded an International flight 30mins to departure?? That is near impossible!!

Then the issue car following from airport down to city gate, that's quite a distance. . . except if the kidnappers were looking for any random victim and not really him per se.
