Made in China, key word "made"
Made Simply means assembled in China.
Doesn't mean the components are source in China..
Let's use APPLE for example the chips for the iPhone are source in Apple headquarters in California yet Assembled in China, because of it's cheap labour .
So dose Tesla too, its electric cars are computerized in the USA but assembled in China..
And we talking about drones, you can't compare any cheap made drone to the USA made and assembled predator, avenger,
South Korea company Samsung biggest plant is in China. Does that means the Chinese are the biggest producer of electrics gadgets even thou 80% of Samsung product's are assembled in China business district
Made in China is made in China. Assemble in China is Assembled in China just like iphone etc.
Tesla is not the only electric car manufacturer, there are other very nice Chinese brands of Electric Cars the popular ones are; Li, xpeng, Nio etc.
No reasonable American president will allow China market it's automobiles in the US not because they are substandard but it will kill American manufacturers just like they did to home appliance manufactures. Forget the claims of substandard products being canvassed by the West. China produces according to whatever spec you want so long as they get paid.
If you have been to both US and China you will understand what. Talking about.

This is amazing, I'm still mystified by China's rapid technological rise.

Why can't we build something like this in Nigeria?
Where are the nigerians that went to Harvard, Oxford, Cambridge, MIT, Stanford, etc
They can only speak big English

Our government would not be able to employ, manage and utilize their knowledge, there is also a deliberate Process in which European nations entice them with job and residency opportunities just to keep them in.

We all know that as of the early nineties, rough nations like Iran and Indian have hundreds of thousands of state sponsored citizens studying in advanced nations...
during the Jonathan era,the FG lost a lawsuit against some state(Nigeria) sponsored graduates who studied abroad, the initial agreement was that after being sponsored by the state they would come back and hold key positions in niger delta oil rigs, unfortunately due to decadence the fg failed to keep up to it's bargain,it abandoned them in US after paying their first year tuition fee, they had to do labour to sponsor themselves, after that the foreign governments gave them magnanimous offers..
Isn't that evident in the military already, after sending military officers to train in UK and Israel, they bring them back to Nigeria and post them close to generals, office administration or foreign military envoys just to gain face, nobody thinks about recreating and adopting their military skills, structure, techniques and training for the NDA

Totally wrong.
Tesla are all produced and assembled in USA.
They are way different from Ford and others.

‘Everything you use’, not all over the world.
You know nothing, don’t argue with me.
Even iPhones are made in China.

Ignorant people are fond of showing themselves.

Yeah made in China, that’s what you know, cause you judge from case labels like children do.
You barely know that stuff are made of other stuff, from patented technologies, framework and designs.
You need an iOS first to have an iPhone. I bet you don’t know the difference between the two. China assembles is different from China creates. That’s why Taiwan is more important to the US for business than China is. It’s okay, you'll never understand this.
Don’t just read headlines on social media, and come up to comment on issues that require a good knowledge of world events and how things work.
I bet if you should see a bare iPhone panel and dismantled components, you won’t be able to know the difference between mics and speakers.
This bitchy pride that you know big stuff when you’re actually an apology with the basics, really stinks.
This is not relationship matters. You should know your capacity.
And please don’t check back. I’m unavailable.

I’m sure you are available!

I am pretty sure you know nothing about Apple, because my former company partners with Apple, so I can tell you with full confidence that the people producing iPhones are mostly Chinese.
Just go to YouTube and watch Apple’s revelation of new series of their phones and MacBooks and check out those behind the ideas.

1. Who should finance it (this is not cheap)
2. We don't have local hardware supplies (we have to depend on imports)
3. How would Nigeria make money from it?
4. On the global market, can out prices be competitive (since we need to import virtual 95% of the parts)

Above are the Questions militating against production of such.

There are hundreds of nigerians who can build drones (me inclusive), the Nigerian environment is terrible as you are on your own for anything of such

They need to come out and ask for funds first
