They must change their military doctrine to preserve combat units with minimal casualties if they want to survive any war with NATO/US..

The US and other Western countries have ramped up arms supplies to Ukraine, including lethal weapons, since February 24, when Russia launched its special military operation responding to calls for help from the breakaway republics of Donetsk and Lugansk. In total, the US has committed over $17.6 billion in military assistance to Ukraine since the start of the hostilities. Washington's recent $725 million military aid package to Kiev was announced on October 14. It includes more ammunition for High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS) and additional 155mm artillery rounds.

The Chinese authorities ordered large state-owned companies to stop the resale of liquefied natural gas to Europe and other Asian countries in order to ensure the winter heating season in China itself, writes Bloomberg.

China's move to secure its own supplies could cut supplies to Europe and exacerbate the region's energy crisis, writes Bloomberg.

China has large contracts to buy LNG from exporters like the US, with Asian traders diverting some of those supplies to Europe this year due to weak domestic demand.

Ukraine has been engaged in a conventional conflict with Russia for about 9 months. Despite Western aid, they've been unable to push the Russians out. 9 months is more than enough time.
They're just siphoning and embezzling money and getting knocked.
