Apply for postdoctoral fellowships not only in the UK.. Consider the US, Canada and Australia. With some research experience in those countries, you could get a teaching position.

I've done 6months internship in a care home.

Depression is almost taking over me�. please I am not trying to gather pity. Just give me a strategy/help if you can. Never saw it coming that this could drain me mentally ��

That feeling is truly horrible but it's also normal to get that rejection. Success rate with UK jobs is low, but 60 is a lot. Something is probably wrong your CV

Change your strategy.

Upload your CV and cover letter on indeed.

Starting searching for counties with very low population.

Ensure you apply directly to home and not agencies. Check their careers or vacancies section and apply.

Search for Support Worker, etc

Stop using Care Assistant and Health Worker

I am yet to receive an offer but I have seen one or two positive response.

Yeah, the delay is caused by the change of name. She has done all the nin shenanigans, but the record has to change on immigration portal which is where the delay is currently.

They said it's only done in Abuja and it takes some time, but I feel a month should be sufficient

1) the timeline on their site is scary, I want to ask for the actual no of months it took them to have their name on the register/complete registration

2) how did you go about proof of address?

3) can medium of instruction letter serve as certificate of English proficiency for the purpose of registration?

Hello Zeb04, I hope you're aware that you mustn't use IELTS report for HCPC registration.
If you schooled in an Anglophone country, such as Nigeria, and your university degree was taught in English, and you speak it fluently, you can get an English Proficiency Letter/Medium of Instruction (signed & stamped) from your university's admin office or from your dept and use it for your HCPC registration.
