successmatters:Is that not further evidence of how much of a religious bigot and closet Islamic fundamentalist and terrorist Thiefnuibu is? Did he not choose a muMURIC Boko Hara governor as running mate for his Muslim/Muslim ticket to tell Christians that they are inconsequential nonentities in this Luggardian contraption of a geographical area? It is the same reason that he made a known Boko Haram sympathiser, Buhari president in 2015. Emergingnation:

So sad our so called educated youths are finding it difficult to understand this simple use of English by Tinubu. The Western world should be ready to give incentives to developing Nations, in an effort to make them do away with fossil fuels ..if they are truly serious about climate change |

It was a perfect analogy that captured the dilemma of sub-saharan African nations. No way in hell, someone driven by hate can realise the import of the statement. The west with many of the climate change direction like kyoto protocol e.t.c is not fair on African continent. I will prefer Nigeria create coal driven power plants that are easy to run , cheap and realiable to solve our energy needs than to begin to worry about Carbon emissions. USA sounds like a hypocrite when 1/3rd of its power plant is coal driven but wants poorer nations with less industrialisation that have contributed next to nothing carbon emissions to indirectly pay. |

You even get time for explanation . Many educated fools dey naija that can not aknowlodge a very simple analysis . Tinubu kill the show for his response to that question and send a powerful message to the west " if they want us to support their climate change policies they should give us money . Poisoned " holy communion " is the only things that are available to Africans at the moment . we struggle to survive and someone who's hungry can not think of planting tree , he would rather cut and sell the available ones. they " west " should be ready to support africa for the policy , otherwise we keep eating the poisoned holy communion . |

So is this how he will be speaking in parables in international conferences or when making important national speeches that affects the economy of the country? Must he always speak in parables like a thousand year old ancestor everytime? Speaking with nobody understanding what he is saying. Is that how a sane person speaks? These APC clowns will just keep defending and justifying rubbish. |

I can't but agree with Kperogi on his analysis of the statement credited to Asiwayo, sorry, Asiwaju. Asiwayo, once again, sorry, Asiwaju is a crafty politician who speaks "nebulously" in order for the wise to read between the lines. Poor nations are economically at a diadvantage because the choices before them are limited hence it would be difficult to stop a church rat from eating poisoned Holy Communion. The man often speaks in parables which only the highly intelligent can decipher. All the same... #NoToMu-MuTicket! |

So the problem is this writer is as daft as Tinubu. The question was not how would you respond to the west call on climate change, it is how will you deal with climate change. You do not have to implement the west policies but you must have a way of tackling climate change. A better response is we would study what is peculiar and can work in NIgeria. His answer reflects that he is only about money. Climate change has diverse way of tackling it like using renewable energy for future power plants, etc. Many educated journalist shows their daftness in times of election |

Heavendipper:Ad hominem is unnecessary. No one has a monopoly of insults. Anyone with true education and good home training would make logical points without throwing infantile tantrums. Politics is not poem. You don't need a degree to know that it's a sensitive game. Any smart politician knows that you can't make any incendiary statement like "poisoned holy communion." Lastly, last time I checked, the speech wasn't a poetry presentation or audition. It was a political interview. Selah. |
