Sowore tackles Obi for inspecting Datti’s hospital

The African Action Congress presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, on Wednesday, tackled his Labour Party counterpart, Peter Obi, for his inspecting LP’s vice-presidential candidate, Dr Datti Baba-Ahmed’s hospital in Abuja.

Obi had earlier on his Twitter page on Wednesday shared pictures from his visit to the Baze University Hospital, describing the varsity owned by Baba-Ahmed as exemplary.

According to him, The institution is exemplary and reflective of a centre of excellence, and what domestic entrepreneurs and investors can contribute to nation-building.

He wrote, “This morning, I had the privilege of visiting the Baze University Hospital in Abuja and inspecting the facilities. Dr Datti Baba-Ahmed was on hand to show me around.

This institution is exemplary and reflective of a centre of excellence, and what domestic entrepreneurs and investors can contribute to nation-building.

“With several more facilities like this, medical tourism for Nigerians will be a thing of the past. This is simply awesome. – PO.”

But reacting to the visit, Sowore said he was surprised that Obi visited Baba-Ahmed’s hospital rather than the ‘university teaching hospital’ he allegedly built during his tenure as Anambra State governor.

He wrote, “I thought you & Datti would be inspecting the international standard “University Teaching Hospital” they claimed you built while you were governor of Anambra state and not a private hospital built by Datti, which obviously is not accessible/affordable to majority Of Nigerians!.”

This is a time for Presidential candidates to show evidence of their past performance in public offices.

It is definitely not a time for rhetorics or a time to do a photoshoot at the facility of a Mauritanian whose only interest in Nigeria is his Foreign Direct Investment.

Hatred is real

Shop owner rent shop, paid for market ticket, paid security fees both house and market, feed family, pay schools fees, paid for tax, paid for market clean up, pay other dues now he add those things on top the market to make ends meet now one thug from nowhere want to collect money from customers that came to buy market. This characters will chase buyers from the market if not well managed.

Few Yoruba people should get a life, they always feel they're are strong rather na only mouth them get. 2011-2012 I remembered one Benin boy that was doing that nonsense in abule egba market he was killed by soldiers inside market. This kind of character deserve shoot on site order. Go and rent shop and do business if ee easy, stop looking for innocent people you want to harasses.

The level of the hatred is real, the enviness for other peoples business. We generate the import revenue in Lagos, we pay house rent, pay shop rent, pay taxes still yet you people are not pleased. Always raising voice as if they have power or strength. An idiot from ekiti or Ibadan claiming to be an indegin of Lagos while their states are deserted.

Indigenous people of Lagos should wake up and chase these idiot back to their state. Election time they want to force you to vote for their candidate hmmmmm. The mental health of these people needs to be checked. Work no but you want free money. Check December time when Igbo's travel the states always remain empty. They forgot to understand that Igbo's are born soldier ready to die any minutes we are not cowards like them

I feel sorry for Sowore. He lacks good advisers.

He should humble himself and collapse his structure to support Obi, to build a political profile for himself. All this his one man army approach would get him no where. He has a chance to be part of Nigeria's biggest youth-driven political movement but he is forming saint.

People should advise Sowore to return to his state of origin (that's if he knows it) to contest for guber election. Nigerians will never vote for president people without political track records. For God's sake, our institutions are too weak to be handed over to such people.

Imagine if a nonentity like Rochas Okorocha was elected president without being tested as Imo State governor. He would have turned all the ministries to Ministry of Happiness and moulded statues all over the country. grin
