1) The claim that Ibadan produces for other western states is false. What is similar to that claim is that Ibadan command controls the server in the Southwest except Lagos. In simpler term, it means that Ibadan on/off the server for daily operation but not producing for other states in West. I got to know this the last time I was at Oshogbo command. They were waiting for signal from Ibadan before they could start the operation for the day.

2) Consequent to the above information, it is not likely that Ibadan determines the production rate for other states. Each state is individually responsible for their passports production.

3) Production date is the day your passport is issued/produced while collection date is the you go for its collection.

4) In my personal opinion, there is nothing like fast track process. The only similar scenario to this is that those that paid through the agents/immigration seem to enjoy favorable privilege than DIY applicants which is not generally applicable.

Update: so I went there(Alausa) yesterday 20th October and only 1 was ready, the 1 that captured on the 7th. UP was written on the other collection slip and I was told to come back next week.

I'm not sure what ut means but I noticed immediately we got into the collection office they checked them, wrote AA on some and handed them back to the owners telling them "not ready, check back in a couple of weeks or call the person handling it for you".

You can only look for fast track officer at the centre you captured! I'm not sure e.g you captured at Ikoyi passport office in Lagos and you're asking someone that fast track at Calaber for help na. If you don't have anyone just go to your center, talk to people around or meet another officer there and explain if they can help you! Because if you rely here for fast track help nobody is helping you. Keep going to your center and ask for help or meet photocopy people or restaurant people, just talk to anyone, someone will know someone, don't underrate anyone sha. I wish you the best and I really hope you get help soon. I was in your shoe month ago.

You can do everything on the capturing day

Opening a file before your capturing date will save you a lot of stress on your capturing date.
It's advice to open a file weeks before your capturing date,Thursday is ohk still but if you can do it on Monday or Tuesday it's better.
