We all knew she wasn’t going to last, the only thing saving the UK is their currency which is losing value. The UK will split pretty soon (Scotland and Northern Ireland to exit).
Boris Johnson created the problem with his brexit policy, they could have stayed in the EU.
All Liz truss should have done was to capitulate and beg Russia and China on her knees, so as to help them economically but nope the western arrogance won’t let them.

Hmmmm...

What can you write about Nigeria Politics?

smh. You obbiously lack the understanding of the issues. Liz and Kwasi are close buddies for ever. To enlighten yourself, please go read all Rishi Sunak said at debates with Liz. Kwasi and Liz are geek buddies even after his sack

The Lord has brought Deserving Pain to Britain, the British destroyed lives by bringing Nigeria together.

God is not asleep, Britain woes has just begun for bringing animals and humans together for selfish reasons.

Shut up black man, since 1914 amalgamation u still lament and curse people who have left your continent years ago. How will you grow when any little thing you run and dig up the blackest part of Histroy on your continents. The Britain and colonial master have left your shore years ago, but still yet no reasonable discovery and growth.
Their isn't any woes befallen the Britain, democracy is simply at play. What you should be saying is Out leaders should learn to resign honorably when ever their policy hits the rock.
The world currently economy downfall is clearly caused by the ongoing war, everyone feels the burn.

To some....it's a sincere and genuine course by Liz Truss to resign from office...She did so honourably because she realised she won't be able to fulfill her campaign promises.

She was just 6 weeks old in office.

I have read lots of comments praising her move and many affirmed that this "rare" trait is not found among Nigeria's politicians...they will rather die in governance than call it quit. grin cheesy grin

Personally, I have problem with Liz Truss...simply because of the timing of her actions. I believe 6 weeks is just too little to chicken out..

She applied for this job, not because it is an easy one...in fact, Borris Johnson was somehow forced to quit ....which shows how demanding

the position is.

She campaigned vigorously, winning the hearts of voters against other contestants..just to bow out in 6weeks

What of tax payers money that have been expended in conducting the elections...all down the drain in the face of economic hardship...just in 6weeks

I am amazed she doesn't know how demanding and complex that position will be and she wasn't prepared that the system may not allow her do what she intends doing untill she championed reforms that will allow her.

Sincerely, she is a leader I don't ever wish to have!

She smelled the coffee. It was not a voluntary resignation. The tories were reading to oust her. She would have lost a confidence vote.

In just 6 weeks she resigned.

Indeed Nigerians are strong, resilient and you name it to be managing buhari like this.

I am waiting for that too.

And talking about racism, tbh, If I were the Europeans, I'd deport all non natives (I appreciate this will not be easy - I'll do it all the same). Call it anything you like. Won't move me an inch. Go and develop your countries and stay away from mine.

You're calling on the Lord, yet referring to fellow human creations as Animals. Na wa ooo

Meanwhile, which deserving pain has the lord brought on Britain? A PM that will be replaced in hours or a queen that died after ruling for 70 years and living till 96? What pain that the rest of the world is not experiencing and worse?

It's only a tiny percentage of British people that know what Nigeria is.
Blame the oil companies who still force dysfunctional one Nigeria on our throats using the leadership of Nigeria's migrant ethnic group, and the disagreement between Yoruba and Igbo.

Shut up, son.

The British and the other colonial masters never left.

Till date, they still decide almost everything for Africa through neocolonialism.

You must be so uninformed if you don't know this.

She didn't appoint Kwateng in the first instance?

Well, economic turbulence in the UK has tried her government and she couldn't stand it.

Well Nigerian politics is complicated, no matter who gets there in the next election, nothing is going to change. In my opinion, I think there should be total overhaul of the Nigerian constitution, then the power concentrated in the center(federal) should be limited and reduced, Nigeria should operate a con-federal system of government whereby every state will be independent… lastly, governance in Nigeria should be made unattractive thereby reducing income of public servants.

There should be check and balance, transparency when funds are allocated.

That’s my opinion though.

In what context is the Word Left used ? There you go saying they still decides everything, sounds too dumb. The world is a trade center and only one single country can't trade with itself.
The British no longer have direct influence on your government, so tell me how they decide. In the world of trade we know they are regulators. When we say read and understand how the system is govern , you find it insultive.
Nobody is holding African from development, African have never taught of production but instead we consume and consume. You tell me how that will boast it's economy.
Like I say, they are gone and gone for good ,get a hold of yourself and develop your continent

Liz truss is like Peter obi and buhari, they will promise you grandiose things that they can't implement and later start making noise that they met a bad system, she was among the first to criticize Boris because of "party",now the u.k is in shit because of her,she is zero competent.

Liz is no Thatcher who had balls of steel. I don't know if she expected a tea party. No one is gonna hold your hand through the difficult times and difficult they are. I don't know how long the UK will keep tottering from one mistake to the other. Scotland is just waiting for the right moment to leave and the Welsh won't be far behind (if they can finally get their act together).
