You can still capture after your appointment date given even if you didn't turn up on the date given
Your application can only expire 1 year time if you didn't capture

Please house, I have tried to track my application since I captured in August at Ikoyi, it always tick the first stage I e.paid. Checking it again this even, I see that it has got to Production stage. Please, what does it mean. Does it mean that my passport will soon be issued. Thanks

My wife was at Ikoyi office again today, her passport is still not yet ready. She captured on August 17. Her tracking status has been in production for almost two months now. She was told that they are out of materials so she should check back next week. Same thing she was told last week. It is well with Ikoyi oo

Oga oooo, same thing they told me. Am beginning to get scared of the whole process. More than 2 months now, No show. People are getting this thing in other states within 4weeks without fast-tracking. My friend got her own within that range without fast-tracking in Ekiti. May God help Ikoyi ooo

Since your status just changed today, then let's be hopeful that by next week it should be ready.

If it is DIY, Alausa wouldn't open any file for you before the appointment day.

This is not correct except things have changed in Alausa center.I opened file 3 days before capturing in April this year, and collected passport in July. Opening a file days before capturing will save you from paying unexpected fees. Please update the house if things have changed.

A file will be created which will be used in calling your name on capture date. What will I tell the officials?

As part of docs required, I saw on a blog that that affidavit(age declaration) will only be allowed if the birth year is 1992 and beyond.
How true is this?

And also, how many guarantor will I need?

Hello Chief, please this NIN validation, can it be done at the immigration office because I have been at it at the enrollment centers for a while now without success, it’s apparent the agents had turned the whole thing to a cash cow they don’t intend to stop milking. The NIN is the only reason I haven’t made payment for the renewal. I need to get it done and out of the way cos I need the document by February.

Also I would appreciate if anyone reading this knows which of the stations in the Southwest where I can get the passport within two months.

(1). Some NIS passport office don't allow Rescheduling of appointment ( eg festac NIS passport office) their portal is disabled for this , so you have to go and capture any day or time after you missed your appointment

So which centre did you choose?

(2) duration is 1 years not 6 months starting from the day you made payment online.
So if you did not capture within the durations then you will need to start afresh with new payment the system will cancel your previous application informations
