It was in Antioch that the disciples were first called Christians,” Acts 11: 26.
This verse narrated the event that led to disciples being called after the likeness of Christ. Acts 11: 19-26 — It's a privilege that we believers today are called Christians because it emphasize our Christlike nature. Why are the disciples not referred to had born Christians?

Recently a prominent politician said I am a Christian but not born again. It sounds sarcastic. We should stop drawing lines between these nomenclature.

Like Super Jew is written to have said to Nicodemus, “being born again is like the wind. No one knows where it comes from or where it goes”. Prime bullshit from the mind of some charlatan.

And be mindful of this difference :

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

This implies that except a man is born of water and of the spirit..
To be born of water implies the water baptism of John the Baptist
To be born of the spirit implies being a disciples of Jesus at the time he was yet to be crucified.
All these is what Jesus meant by the term born again in John 3:3 and they happened during John the Baptist era and therefore have nothing to do with Christians.
Infact, Christians were first called Christians at Antioch after Jesus has been crucified, John the Baptist wasn't among

The bottom-line is, the word born again used by Jesus in John 3:3 isn't necessarily of Christianity but it was of John the Baptist

The reason why you don't know the difference is because you haven't learned from the real Christians: JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES!

Christians are believers in Christ Jesus always practicing what Jesus taught wholeheartedly as if their lives depends on it. They will live forever in Paradise on earth when God's own government (God's Kingdom) is established on the earth. They will become adopted children of a new father (Christ Jesus) through their faith in him so unlike the descendants of Adam that inherited sin and death through the bloodline Christians will have everlasting life as adopted children of the Christ! 1Corinthians 15:45

BORN AGAIN Christians are believers anointed with God's Holy Spirit to reign with Christ in heaven. This is the group Jesus had a direct dealing with, they will live by all that Christ taught but after their death there's no more life for them on this planet just like Jesus lived and after his resurrection went to heaven, they will be taken to heaven where Jesus has prepared for them as home. John 14:6

After Jesus' ascension to heaven Satan raised enemies against the congregation (church) both inside and outside. Unbelieving Jews were fighting against the church as Satan's agents from the outside while antichrists (disguised politicians) were fighting against the church from within. So just as Jesus foretold all the pioneers of the faith were killed {Matthew 23:24} after all these ones (have all slept in death) Satan used those enemies within to change everything Christ laid down {Matthew 13:25} no wonder Jesus foretold that by the time he returns to see how far his disciples are doing on earth what he taught would have been changed due to Satan's continuous fight against the truth! Luke 18:8

Well Jesus Christ returned in the year 1914 to take away the BORN AGAIN Christians who are sleeping in death {1Thessalonians 4:16} then the rest of them will be transformed immediately they died to go and join their brothers in heaven {1Thessalonians 4:17} then Jesus began visiting all the religious groups claiming Christians that year but none was teaching what Jesus laid down. After his thorough search he found a group known as the International Bible Students Association (IBSA) this group has been making research to know where the churches of Christendom went wrong, Jesus began using God's Holy Spirit to direct this group and from that year this group kept making amendments in their beliefs. After 17 years of their continuous amendments (1931) without let up despite criticism from other religions including members leaving the group to either join or form another group God began calling this unique group of faithful researchers by another name: JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES! Yes!

Christian means like-Christ or Christ-like.

While "born again Christian" means a word which people who go to church say as they wrongly think that going to church is the same thing as being a Christian, therefore, when he says to himself that he has changed and he is different and better from his version of christianity and he then adds the word "born again" to his version of christianity, hence "born again christian".

And in proof of his Aba made christianity, he goes on living exactly as he has always been living eg fornicating, being proud, maybe only reducing the frequency slightly, but nonetheless, he is still the same sin racking person.

My comments is not for atheists Sir but those having faith in God's word.
When Jesus of Nazareth told his audience that the Elijah they're expecting is John the baptist there's nowhere the name John was written in the Bible even the name Jesus wasn't the one they're expecting as the Messiah but it's these two individuals that fulfilled both the expected Messiah and Elijah.

So it's from 1914 that what Jesus foretold about his presence began unfolding {Matthew 24:3-14} only faithful individuals who love God's word will correlate the event and the time it's happening unlike you who is expecting to see the date written in black and white! wink

Go back to your native language, it will help you a lot and see the difference in the literature...

1. Christian was a name given to a group by another, out of their own judgement about a pattern or modelled image

2. Born again are people biblical Jesus saw and expected to keep the commandment.... Forget all these born of water and spirit stories...they were intended to keep their brains busy since the characters wouldn't want to take a simple advice of just keeping the commandments ...

Let's prove it number 2

Luke 18: 18
Now a certain ruler asks: what shall I do to inherit internal life...so Jesus says no one is good but one(god) .... You know the commandments, keep them
John 3:3
Except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of god....

How can a man be born again when he is old
Lol.. notice how the writer made the story interesting by this response:

Except a man be born by water and spirit (this is just a demonstration of flesh and witness)~ keeping the commandments, therefore, water and spirit is just symbolic grin ....why ??

John 3:10
Biblical Jesus ended by saying...you be Israel's teacher but you no come understand...
12. I have spoken to you of earthly things (commandments) but una no believe, how una go believe if I yan heavenly things (symbolic) grin

Faith is the assured expectation of what is hoped for, the evident demonstration of realities that are not seen. Hebrews 11:1

So Jesus was not seen in 1914 but the evident demonstration of what he foretold can't be denied.

A Christian is a normal tolerant Christian, who entertain other people's views, ready to shift grounds and make compromises for the common good.

A Born Again Christian is a fanatic Christian, they believe in their Daddy GO, the Deeper life, the chosen mopols of this world. They are fanatic and when the undertake, unholy things they hide and always appear neat to outsiders.

Born Again or no Born Again, whom God go pity bring into his kingdom na that person he go pity grin grin

John 3:3-7
3Jesus answered him,
“I assure you and most solemnly say to you, unless a person is born again
[reborn from above--spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified],
he cannot [ever] see and experience the kingdom of God.
4Nicodemus said to Him,
“How can a man be born when he is old?
He cannot enter his mother’s womb a second time and be born, can he?”
5Jesus answered,
“I assure you and most solemnly say to you,
unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot [ever] enter the kingdom of God.
6That which is born of the flesh is flesh [the physical is merely physical],
and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7Do not be surprised that I have told you,
‘You must be born again
[reborn from above--spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified].’

Fellas and ladies, watch and with rapt attention, watch to this. You can see, experience and feel the power of America, but for you to enter into America, you must meet certain criteria, as no one ordinarily enters America anyhow or just like. Thats simply because certain requirements must be met

Kk, lets head back to the Nicodemus' clandestine private meeting, he had with Jesus (i.e. John 3:3-7 above)

At John 3:2, yes, Nicodemus recognised, admitted and confessed that he has observed the demonstrated power and moves done by Jesus, and all these events and occurrences that left him with the impression that they were all of God, so at John 3:3, Jesus informed Nicodemus that, its only a person born from on high or above, which also is known as being 'born again' (i.e. regenerated or renewed essentially) that is capable of seeing, that all those events and occurrences, the demonstrated power and move done by Jesus are all of God.

Then to buttress and reinforce the point, Jesus after seeing that Nicodemus, looked puzzled about being told of 'born again' then at John 3:5, went further, to explain that its combination criteria, that is required for, to enter the kingdom of God even. The decider, qualifier, or the game changer is to be both born of water (i.e. the amniotic fluid) and born of God (i.e. the Spirit)

Yes, we all (e.g. Rahab, Ruth, Simeon, Job et cetera) get born of the Spirit, from the moment will believe. Now as believers, the instalment of the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the manifestation of the Spirit soon after follow in tandem

Now here's an interesting fact, naysayers, scoffers, mockers, cynics, pagans et cetera dont see, never see and never will see anything good about the kingdom, for the simple reason because they are not born again. They are not born from above, and so are not spiritually rebirthed aka not regenerated, or nor renewed.

It's more the reason, we have atheists, it is because regeneration has not taken place in atheists and all and this is why they are quick to rubbish and/or never want to acknowledge any moves, demonstrations and power of the kingdom of God. They dont believe who Jesus is, that He is God and that the miraculous signs are evidence that God is with Jesus, who is the preincarnate and incarnate God

So that's a modest bird-eye view of what it means to be born-again. Born again, is meant to be a given. To acknowledge God, to accept, confess, recognise, appreciate, own up, concede, realise and admit occurrences or events of the demonstration of the power of God is proof that one is born again aka born from above (i.e. anew).

Born Again in regards to believers, being a given, is the reason why Jesus never publicly preached about it. The state of being born again only came up for discussion accidentally, and even Jesus reprimanded Nicodemus for being a teacher of Israel and not knowing biblical basic no-brainer things, such as 'Born Again', 'seeing the kingdom' and 'entering the kingdom'

Abraham, Moses, Nicodemus the disciples the Apostles et cetera were all born again, aka, born from on high, born of the Spirit.

Wike hasn't a Scooby Doo idea. He doesnt know that every believer by default is born again, meaning it is unlikely that a believer is not born again.

Personal text: Jesus is not a theologian. He is God who told stories.
