This is why the white man said: The black man can never govern himself. He knows nothing but to consume and destroy. Those were the parting words of the last British as they handed over power to our 1st republic. Where are we today? Worse than they left us. Sad thing is, in the 60s and 70s, Nigeria was at par, economically in terms of oil production and its attendant clout, we were equals with Saudi Arabia. Today, if Saudi coughs, America will start shaking. Look at all the countries in the world run by black man, they're all in disarray. And, when a white man tells you there's something fundamentally wrong with the black man...una go begin shout Racism. Abeggi. 3 Likes |

Bontafa:Guy, you made sense die. I once made this suggestion and one myopic urchin took a swipe at me. With one billion naira, you can set up a good modular refinery but the federal government knows what they're doing by limiting licences on modular refineries. There are people who can also pool funds together to achieve this. Let me shock you. We went for a project somewhere in the Niger delta some years back. You'd have to get to that village via a canoe. No fuel close by. We depended on the diesel sold by these illegal refineries for 3 months to power our generator. You know what? It was as quality as the one we bought and loaded inside our canoe the first time from a major fuel station in a nearby town. I now asked myself, how much does it really cost to build a good refinery? Why not regulate, encourage them by providing loan to upgrade instead of destroying them in order to have your way on your illegal bunkering business? All of them can specialise in a particular product...like pms only, AGO only, DPK only, etc with strict monitoring to ensure compliance on quality. Na wah oo |

Eriokanmi: God go bless you. They are fighting them cuz the government wants the oil alone . With those pot bellied oil well owners . See if the regulate those Kpo fire refinaries in a way it won't affect the atmosphere and then reduce risk . He have gotten ourselves mini refinaries o. Then let them pay tax to the government with government monitoring shikena. Fuel scarcity in a country of abundance |
