TheGoodJoe:I guess this is true, coming from you the personal assistant to piTobi. Obi himself, never told us such. Go read up on import and export, a new tab by the side will save you this self inflicted display of ignorance |

SmartyPants:PO has never advocated exporting raw materials. He has always said Niger will be the agric hub while Kano will be the processing centre. If you follow PO you'll understand his vision better. That's why people like us who're not interested in politics keyed into his vision. He's better than other career politicians on the ballot. |

vhykeeytor:Yes. An example is Buhari when he was ban from politics for life by the oputa panel then. Now we know better. Buhari has never change same can be said of TonyeBacarnister. Fear any man that has no stand, they are easily bought over. That's why Nigeria political space is so messy and lack vision. If I am lying ask any Nigeria politician what is the Nigerian dream? Non will answers even tonye can't answer this question too. |

Kaysalas: Educate us on how one of the largest exporters of products from Europe to Africa is not an exporter. Give us an excerpt of what you want us to read. |

RingRoadMafia:Stop crying, no one is stopping you from supporting agbado or mikano, own your candidate with your full chest. We Obidients don't do propaganda. We don't tell lies. You can go and verify. |

SmartyPants:See, when he says to pursue tight policies, he does not mean all sectors. If you get this, it gets easier. If someone is in the agric exportation sector, there will be monetary access for him through other instruments. If you are into loans for another sector that will not favor the country, like crude products importation, the tight monetary system will make it unfavorable. By the way, I am not speaking for Peter Obi. I listened to him and I am sharing things that entice me to believe he is the right man to steer the country at this time. He has made it clear. Bill Gates and Steve Jobs made it from favorable loans. He made it from a loan without collateral. It is impossible he will push a policy to restrict the very essence that is driving him. |

RexTramadol1:I'm sure you never run out of Tramadol as your Username insinuates. I don't know why maths is so difficult for you agbadorians. What is wrong with you all? Peter Obi said employment will reduce crime by 50%, he didn't say it will end it. It is clearly written on the transcript. |

TheGoodJoe:See, it's obvious you don't even know what you are saying. Obi buys goods from Europe, doesn't make him an exporter. I saw what you wrote up there about him paying for the logistics and sourcing the goods over there, therefore that makes him an exporter. I couldn't help but shake my head at your level of "simplicity" (I nor wan chop ban) ![]() The companies Obi buys from are the exporters, while he bringing in the goods is the importer. I am tired of explaining something as basic as this to you. Cheers |

SmartyPants:When you say with respect to power, many have promised and failed, that is why many youths in question are marching for Peter Obi. With his history of credibility, not working towards personal gains, and being one of the few that made money from not stealing from the nation, we can trust him to handle power differently. He has even gone as far as going to Egypt himself to see how Egypt applied Siemens technology and how it has worked for them. With Peter Obi, we can expect less talk and more action. |

Kaysalas:WTF. So exporters do not by goods from the countries they export from? Omo. See talk. |

SmartyPants:Because Kano is building a rail line to the port in Lagos. When completed, it will be easier to transport finished goods to the port for export to other African countries and the rest of the world. |

Freethinker87: Explain to me how Peter Obi is not an exporter when he buys goods in Europe and exports them to Africa. Please, to Nigeria, he is an importer. To the Europeans from whom he got the funds and purchased the goods and exported them to Nigeria, he is an exporter. Explain to me how someone who exports goods from Europe is not an exporter. |

Kaysalas:The Companies Peter Obi bought from were manufacturers. Peter Obi was the exporter. He bought it from their companies and exported to Africa. |

TonyeBarcanista:Fallacious? What part? Tonye, I know there's hunger in the land but is it that bad? I wouldn't be able to muster enough courage to comment here after being caught posting a doctored video. It's alright, when PO comes in 2023, there'll be enough jobs to keep you productive. |

SmartyPants:I'll thank you at least, that you're not just one looking to argue meaninglessly. Now concerning the bolded, I'll cite the examples of Umza Rice Mill and Innoson Motors. These are local companies that Obi have supported, and patronised. When he deals with insecurity, so products are available, he'll invest in manufacturing industries that are specialised in turning raw materials into different by-products. If Obi can support Innoson, he'll support many more struggling local businesses that are into the kind of conversions you cited, here in Nigeria. Note; he's done it. With his own PERSONAL money, he supported Umza Rice Mill and it is one of the biggest contributor to the Nigerian economy today. He definitely will do more with PUBLIC money in supporting other of such industries. After our consumption, the remaining of these excesses will be exported, and he obviously has knowledge in that too. There are numerous small scale businesses Obi supported in Anambra, all from the private sector, that contributed to the State's economy. SABMiller is another example. It was one of the biggest breweries in the world before its going defunct, and Obi attracted them in building their greenfield site in the State, and in the country. I know you may point out that is it a foreign company, local to another country, but that doesn't mean Nigerians here would not be gainfully employed in construction and management of the businesses, and will be a contributory agent to the overall worldwide exports of the brand. Obi also built many diplomatic relations the Gates, UN, UNICEF, World Bank and so many more international affiliations, for the very first time. These relationships, when leveraged and replicated on the national level, can aid Nigeria in becoming a major producer and exporter of (agricultural) products. Innoson and Aba-made products can become world brands under him. He'll market them, patronise them, make use of them in strategic governmental places and in the country, and export them. Oh, yeah. And sure, we were exporting some things before the pre-insurgency periods, but we've always been battling with corruption and high cost of governance, hence a low export rates. Obi saved money, cut the cost of governance and invested in projects in Anambra; if he replicates that in Nigeria, our production and export rates become bigger and higher than ever before, and with his track record of attracting investors and useful diplomatic partnerships (not the optics and on-paper style our leaders are fond of doing), Nigeria becomes a dominant force in meeting the world's markets and needs. Everything I write/say aren't 100% projections and predictions. It's something he has done and excelled in, and Anambra is proof of it: https://businesselitesafrica.com/2022/06/24/7-transformative-projects-of-peter-obi-in-anambra-state/?amp=1 |

TheGoodJoe:PO is not an exporter, he is a distributor. He ran a successful marketing firm in the UK back in the day. He was responsible for introducing Heinze products and making them a household name in Nigeria. Ovaltine too, and some flavoured wines. He was also a major distributor for local manufacturers such as Coca-Cola, Yao foods, and others. He can't be an exporter of goods he distributes, he's not even an importer in the right sense of the word. He's only a distributor, which means, he enters into a legal contract with these manufacturers to be their sole distributor in Nigeria. |

Freethinker87:You really are desperate to earn your pay, aren’t you? You are also desperate to hoodwink the public! The fact is, he was hardly able to answer that question properly. What is so difficult in answering the simple question of how a candidate wants to move Nigeria from consumption to production? What? He has mouthed many slogans that he knows appeals mostly to youths, especially the ones who were either not born or just mere infants when he governor of Anambra in 2 unspectacular terms. It’s such a shame that every time someone has scratched below the surface, it instantly becomes clear that that PETER OBI IS EMPTY!!! Do you also want to provide the complete transcript of the CNN interview? For crying out loud, this is a pattern. Your IPOB/Obidient/UGM/ESN candidate is all noise and no substance. He only escapes when sympathetic and dull interviewers do not dig deep, either out of solidarity or out of emptiness themselves. The economy of a huge nation like Nigeria is far beyond simple CONTAINER economics. Such a sorry sight Peter Obi’s beginning to cut. |

begoniaa:You mean the same SABmiller that has managed to successfully reduce Anambra’s unemployment rate to only 40% by “employing 60% of all employable Anambrarians in its Anambra complex”? #smh #yeyedeysmell |

Freethinker87:You are missing a vital point. How did the products leave Europe and come to Africa? Peter Obi created the demand here, AND EXPORTED THEM TO AFRICA. Please, he was a major exporter from Europe. He handled the logistics all through. |
