I remembered that year when I traveled to South Africa, some guys (South Africans) asked me what am eating, I said rice,then a lady asked me if it was nice, I said "this is more than nice,it was "sweet" , they all look at me and one asked if they add sugar to rice in Nigeria, I said what sugar? ,they all said because I mentioned "SWEET" That's when I realized that there are some English words we are using in Nigeria that you can't use it in foreign land(although we forget some times,especially those that just arrive in foreign land) , like if you say "I need to take my drug" south Africans will thinks you are talking about hard-drug (cocaine),you better use medicine instead of drug next time so that police won't nab you (serious fawulencez) 88 Likes 6 Shares |
