he was lucky that Abacha didn't kill him, why did he travel abroad when things was not comfortable? He came back to become a governor because of the money he stole, he used the influence because he was some how close to Awolowo. Can't you ask your self what was the reason why he or the said military governor at that time accepted defeat before he became a governor?

They were brilliant, highly educated , courageous Patriots to the core. I am not surprised that one of them is going to be the President next year.
They paid huge price for the democracy we now enjoy today.

Can you just stop it there. It's not everytime that you expect your propaganda to fly. The way you want to dress Tinubu in borrowed robes is funny. He was hero of democracy, how. What some of you don't know is that Tinubu was busy lobbying for Political position with Abacha. I will leave it there.
