The biggest asset one can get is land. Nigeria is blessed with this but unfortunately this potential is under utilized. I converted every space within my compound to garden with variety of vegetables, fruits, crops and tubers. I can't remember when last I buy oranges, pears, banana, plantain, sour sops, pawpaw, ugu, oha etc from market as I have all this within my home some in commercial quantity. This thread is to encourage everyone to go back to agriculture in small available space within your disposal. I will be posting pictures to support my claims. Please share your opinion on this |

And you wisely must have done it with the sweat of thy brow, unlike lazy fuqs who pray for their manna from heaven. Op, your biggest asset is not your land, but the brain in your head with which you sweated to grow the produce on your land that you got with your brain. Please note. |

ytdivine:When I plant this on my farm in my village, my people ask me why, that one does not plant pawpaw, pawpaw just lalẹwus (Yoruba for, cuts the ground and sprouts out by itself). I shake my head and show them the ewedu that lalẹwud as I go about my farm spreading ewedu seeds. |

budaatum:I make a lot of money from pawpaw. The demand for this fruit is very high. Fruit Sellers book it ahead of time. With my irrigation system, I always have the fruit every time of the year |

ytdivine:Pawpaw grows quick and is easy to grow. I love it so much that I forbid myself from eating pawpaw that has touched the ground. One for a pound where I live by the way. And half the size of your's too. I'm jealous! And I miss my farm. It's by a huge lake, so water all year round. I call pawpaw my biscuit, from having to grow it for snack as a child. https://www.nairaland.com/7415028/which-food-crops-grown-home#118091783 |

People like you should b d president of this country. Your ability to develop available resources is key. Many people in your class would prefer to plant just grasses n flowers n rather spent money buying spoiled fruits outside. Fruit demands now like in my state is top notch |
