If Nigeria will split, IGBO land will suffer it most. Cause Biafra will only consist of the 3 and half IGBO indegineous States. Which are Ebonyi, Imo, Abia and half of Enugu State.

Anambra and half of Enugu State are IGALA ancestral Land. And the North will never allow IGBO go with an inch of IGALA ancestral Land. grin
You are one of the reasons Nigeria is a shithole.

As someone from the South South, I can tell you the South East you're trying to attack and the North you're from are on the same boat.

With this question you asked him, if he asks you the same, you'll say the North provides food for Nigeria. My dear, it's a lie.

Yes, that North provides food for Nigeria, but it's not free. In the same vein, the South East provided auto (Innoson), clothes, shoe (from Aba), technology, many more things, but it's not free — you have to pay to get them, just the same way you have to pay for agricultural products from the North.

In summary, the two regions don't provide anything for Nigeria for free. Only the SS does.

So, you're not supposed to ask him that question even if you're from SW. Only someone from SS is eligible to ask him such a question.

North will step up their agriculture. They’ll feed southern Nigeria and neighboring countries. They’ll still be poor but the division will force innovative thinking. Abuja will remain capital and they’ll develop Kano and kaduna. They’ll build the strongest military in the region.

South south minus AkwaCross will form Niger delta, to the anguish of SE. They’ll remain oil rich and full control of revenue will allow improvement in infrastructure. However many tribes will fight for dominance, encouraging corruption. They’ll struggle to build a vibrant economy and employ youths outside oil. Their infatructure drive will improve tourism. They’ll be well off. They’ll stay in their region.

South east will improve from current conditions. The gas reserves will help earn forex. They’ll all move back to the region in a flurry of emotions. However, in less than five years, they’ll start struggling to move back to west, south south and north. They’ll not have freedoms they used to have in Nigeria and they’ll complain everyday on social media. They’ll start trying to takeover lands in the SS. SS will fight back and ask for help from powerful west and north, which may create another Ukraine situation. People who fought for Biafra will be entitled to power.

Southwest will prosper. Industries in Ogun, power in Osun, agriculture in ekiti, oil in ondo, services in Oyo and tech and tourism in lagos will bring a lot of wealth. They’ll quickly build a road amd train connecting west Africa all the way to Senegal. It’ll without doubt be the best alumni region out of Nigeria, leading in tech, security, economy, jobs, shipping, transportation etc.

the op assumed Nigeria only have four or five ethnic groups and her respondents can only react in response. They think the only form of government is the one practiced in nigeria.

Take it from me, Nigeria will not last this christmas

South South geopolitical zone would have been the greatest country in Africa if it was left on its own.

I never really understand why Nigeria is still trying to make the country work together at all cost. It's a failed experiment.

Stop talking like an ignoramus. Is it size of land that determines progress? Switzerland of less than 10 million people is just the size of Enugu and Abia States combined, but has a GDP almost as big as that of Nigeria

Better to be small rich Switzerland than to be big poor Nigeria

The problem is that what you are calling South/South is a collection of tribes who dont even know each other. Nothing really brings them together

The Ibibio man does not know the Bini man, the Uhrobo man does not know the Efik man, the Legbo man does not know the Ijaw man, the Ejgham man does not know the Ogoni man

They should have started a long time ago to get to know each other, rather than calling themselves South/South and thinking that is what unity is all about

Yes. We will not allow them go yet. Cause they are not yet mature to rule over themselves. They also don't have leadership experience yet. We go train una, till una fit rule over unaselves.

poor Ijaw/ishekiri boy, you're as useless as your region. FYI the north has the largest oil reserves than any other region in Nigeria in addition to mineral resources. even the naija delta oil were discovered, explored n exploited first from the money source from agriculture which the north being the largest contributor.

Oh btw, western region (Yorubaland) was the 1st region to attained self-rule from the brits whilst your slimy, myopic and inept leaders insisted on waiting for their "brothers from another father" before they get self-independence from their colonial master.

Yes but those that removed the dunce decided to keep his decree 34 as it favours whoever is in power at the center.

Of course they cant be as autonomous as he met them, it was military rule

However, there is no truth to the story that Ironsi is the one who destroyed Regionalism. The 4 Regions existed under Ironsi with full resource control, but without democracy

Those who removed Ironsi then went ahead to abolish the 4 Regions and create 12 states. Subsequent military administration's kept dividing the 12 states until we got to 36 states

From 4 Regions under Ironsi to 36 states under Abacha

Remember the Yorubas fought the longest civil war in Africa before colonisation. A whooping 100 years civil war. Nigeria is what's holding them together.
My brother perfect being, what about the Ekiti parapo war, let's say yoruba is big, what about Ekiti that is largely homogeneous, it lasted for 16 whooping years, then the Ekiti man would know that Ijebu is different. The man from Owo would know that Oyo dialect is not really intelligible with his dialect
