Thank you for getting back to me, but I've been calling their hotline and the lady keeps telling me that they aren't attending to applicants for now.
Where do I get the accurate information because I need to know if I should travel to Abuja or wait till after the 14th to know what's going on first.

Hello Everyone, Please I need Guidance, I’m helping my younger brother for his visa application, we’ve gotten admission to the school Holmes institute, Paid the School fee and we did this like about 2 weeks back and I had to put an equivalent of €7000 thinking it was the needed amount for the proof of funds. N not knowing I’ve to put the 2 year balance tuition and the living expenses for 3 year which Weill sum up to €30,000 and I’ve already submitted the online visa application before realizing this. Please what’ll you guys advise us to do especially since they always query lump sums and we’ll be doing that on short notice, and this huge sums I’ll have to move it from my business account to my personal account since I’m the Sponsor.
Please I need advice or what to do from there and Ireland aren’t giving any visa dates atm

Hello all, please i want to make enquiries regarding Dorset College Ireland, i got a provisional offer of admission for Bachelor of business, a One year course i applied with HND. Can the tuition be paid in instalment or it has to be paid in full? As the provisional offer came with the total tuition invoice of €7,450 which is the total amount for the 1 year program.
Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by Nobody: 3:01am On Nov 11, 2022
By the special grace of God my brother..You are going to pay full tuition fee to get ur confirmation letter from the school. It is Ireland immigration rules that tuition below
10,000 euro wud be paid at once..buh in some schools u can pay instalmentally buh ur confirmation letter wud not be sent until the full tuition is paid. Don't know if this applies to your school.wishing you the very best and a stress free sojourn on your journey to Ireland.welcome on Board

Nothing you can do at this point, it’s in the VO hands. If they need more info they’d surely contact you and there’s only two possible outcomes honestly. Just pray it’s positive

Please help, who's in the process of paying school fees now via form A, am soooo tired of this waiting process, my application has been on review for the past one week. I used both uba and first bank. Someone should pls help me and which bank to use. I called someone in uba and she's telling me it may take 2months. Pls advice me on which bank to move to. Thanks
Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by Nobody: 1:47pm On Nov 11, 2022
Normally, form A after review which take 2 days from CBN take up to three to.four weeks to be processed by banks depending on the availability of Forex...UBA is even a no-go area cos that what I was told also when I want to apply to before I finally opt to Access bank which took just four weeks and 2 days.....

Yes you're right, I had to mail them and they said they don't have any instalment plan, that I have to pay the full tuition before the can send the full acceptance letter, as it is I'll just ignore them..

Hello dear, please I would like to ask if you later traveled to Ireland with your baby and what type of visa did you apply for your baby and you to come to Ireland to study?

I would alsolike to ask about the documents you submitted for you and your baby?

The proof of funds and any other viable details.
Thank you so much

purplish:
Hi everyone smiley

I would really appreciate your responses, especially if you are in Waterford or you are a Nigerian PhD student who has travelled to Ireland with a baby/family members.

I have just been offered a fully-funded PhD for 4 years at WIT. I intend to go with my baby, who would be about 8 months old by September and I am really anxious about sorting out child care. My questions are:

1. Creche fees in Waterford seem very pricey, from my research (170-200 Euros per week). How have you handled child care while in Ireland? Please feel free to share any tips that could make child care cheaper and stress-free for me.

2. Is 16,000 Euros enough to cater for modest housing, full-day Creche fees, and upkeep for me and my baby every year?

3. I would really appreciate some advice around finding affordable accommodation in a safe and child-friendly area within Waterford City.

Thank you in advance for your response smiley
