The point is that apples and oranges are being compared. Trying to castigate or downplay what Soludo said about Obi's investment in brewery would not work. What is said stands and is different from whatever Obi might have done in other sectors in his state.

Anambra State cannot be boasting on Champion Breweries Plc. It is an insult. There must be companies bigger than champion Breweries in every LGA.

But in that debate he was referencing data from Obi’s tenure (he kept mentioning Peter Obi) and yet there was a governor for 8 years since Obi left.

Soludo should stop making noise & get to work. A man like u didn't steal money. He rather invested it in USD in Hero breweries but Buhari's mismanagement of the economy led to a depreciation in the value of the naira. So despite the fact that the company kept making profits in naira but the dollar equivalent kept going down.
Soludo should know that he wasn't elected to criticize Obi. If he has any dignity, he should rather criticize Obiano if he inherited an empty treasury & hold him accountable for the money Obi left for him. Next he should embark on projects that impact on the life's of the people. Soludo will be happy to be half the man Obi is when it comes to honesty and integrity. The only Nigerian politician that the ever critical electorates hold in high esteem because of his near-incorruptible & honest nature.

Something is wrong with Arise TV anchor men, Dr Reuben Abati and Rufai Oseni. I advise them to drop journalism for politics. I watched them praising Peter Obi for leaving money. He left money when there was budget to implement. I think they're bias.

Obi is not perfect. No one is, but in my opinion, it is better to leave the money there than to waste or embezzle it. Most Nigerians in his shoes would have diverted the funds into their account either directly or through cronies. in this same Nigeria, governors collected loans on behalf of their states, and diverted same into their pockets, and nothing happened. But here we have someone who clear all the state's debts and still left money on ground. Haba! He should be commended, rather than condemned.
