Nah. First, Tinubu needs to do what's right to prevent bigger problem ahead. He needs to change the double Muslim Muslim ticket and include everyone.

Secondly, If he picked someone like Lalong for example, Lalong is a core North as it can get. They will be able to clear the whole of North Central plus the SW, which is more than good enough for Tinubu. Tinubu would have two zones for example which is better when compared to just 1 zone (SW) he's got. Borno and Yobe don't make up a zone hence can't help Tinubu.

Tinubu will get two zones with Lalong, Whatever votes he can get from the South South, NE, NW, SE, it's good. The likes of Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Umahi's Ebonyi, Wike's River etc all promised to support Tinubu for example if he does away with the double Muslim Muslim ticket. Whatever votes he can also get from NW and NE to add to it.

If you liked Tinubu, you wouldn't want him to score zero votes in the South South because that's what will happen if he persist with double Muslim Muslim ticket. He needs to include everyone.
