AIT did same in 2015, Raymond Dopkesi had to beg on national TV and newspapers because Bola Tinubu had sued the TV station for billions.

Why will Tinubu sue them for publishing a fake letter from INEC. Is he INEC?

You may need to be fair to Dr. Ruben Abati. He doesn't witch-hunt Tinubu. He clearly gives a balance view on Tinubu. The culprit is Rufai Oseni whose unprofessionalism is sparked at the mention of Tinubu- He is always looking for a way to nail him. This is obvious to a neutral man.

I pray God grants us a human as a president. All the three candidates have big comas

Libel/calumny is a serious criminal offense and I’m sure Mr Tinubu would cash out big time if he decides to push ahead with this but this is not even about the money because this apology is never going to erase the false news they’d planted in ppl’s minds. You will be surprised that some people have already accepted the reports to be true despite this apology and the dents on the person and image of Asiwaju will linger on and on and this is the sad part of slander and why it should be taken seriously.

I have always noted that the lot of Rueben Abati. Rufai Oseni, Tundun Abiola and Oji Okpe never fail to display their partisanship during every programme in which they appear. This is quite unfortunate to see coming from supposedly professional journalists. What a shame!

Like it has never been so bad in thehistpry of Nigeria. We witness day by day unprofessionalism in our Media Houses and no one is talking about it.

Fake news and clear bias rules the day and worst of it all once there are sanctioned there turn it into another media campaign of blackmail. We really need to build strong institutions to curb these menance, if not fake news will lead to the doom of our beloved Nigeria.

For that word bolded, let me state something i believe explains that.

These guys (the media houses that churn out fake news) know their target, that is why there are always so quick to spread fake news, and less active in validarion from right sources. We are at a very bad crossroad. These guys are been allowed to get away with it.
