All his children are Christians except iyaloja. If he is fanatic muslim; he wouldn't have allowed that to happen. Beside, Tinubu has better proven experiences than other trial and error candidates. Carrying people along to bring best out of them is not even easy as Tinubu has proven himself champion in human relation than other experimental candidates. Obi needs to go and queue to gather more experiences; he should learn not run away or dulge challenges like he ran from from PDP primary challenge to structureless party because of fair of failure.

Atiku, no, no, no for me if we roll back16-years of all round failure of PDP. Everything about him is selling-selling; selling that will not be adequately taking care off. Selling NNPC and other sectors to himself and friends. Beside, north should also allow south after Buhari, but PDP has failed to present from south. PDP should go and wait again, if Tinubu fails to deliver, PDP can come back but not now.

We can't risk another 8yrs of APC rule again, not after all the calamities buhari cause everywhere in Nigeria within APC first 8yrs in governance.

We rather risk Atiku becoming the president of Nigeria than to allow anybody from APC get closed to aso rock again(especially that old druggie that his brain is already ma-functioning due to old age and too much hard drugs).

In politics, you cannot win everybody so you always go for the best possible alternative to win.

Surely, we have genuine people like your grand mum who will not vote Tinubu because of the Muslim-Muslim but on the long run, Shettima is a better pick for Tinubu than lalong when you plot the politics.

Even if Tinubu pick Lalong for example, there is no guarantee that Northern Christians will vote him with 80% of their votes. There is no guarantee that the SE people will vote him with that ticket. So you must appeal to your base in politics.

In 1979, Baba Awolowo chose an Igbo Vice which is a great miscalculation. The Igbos still don’t vote for him because of that and infact Shagari got more Igbo vote than him during that election. Even when he chose Isiaya Audu as his Vice, the Northern Christians still did not vote for him in their majority.

Borno state is strategic, in 2015 or 2019, the votes Buhari got in Borno alone is more than what PDP got in 3-4 states of the SE. lalong won’t deliver Jos with 80% certainty just as Dogara won’t deliver Bauchi and just as Datti Ahmad will never deliver kaduna for Obi.

If it’s not hypocrisy, which party even chose Northern Christian or true Northern minority as their vice? Why did Obi not find a true Northern minority Muslim as his Vice instead of choosing a Fulani Datti Ahmad? Are you saying there are no Tiv, Jukun, and etc that are Muslims that Obi can use?

I'm talking of SW here cos my grandmum is a Sw and she wasn't the only one who heard such. Tinubu is doing more damage to his SW bloc vote while banking on Borno and Yobe which are not even up to bloc vote. Let alone if the Hausa and Fulani ended up betraying him while he loses Plateau, Fct, Benue and some major votes in South South. Point is my grandmum wouldn't have even minded the double Muslim Muslim ticket but Shettima link with boko terrorists.

Meanwhile since Shettima was appointed, it was bad omen from another. First, his unveiling as the vp was a disaster. Secondly, Tinubu who accompanied Oyetola to Osun lost the election despite the fact that Tinubu was on a winning spree prior to that. He had even won Ekiti election prior to that. Of course Oyetola will likely win at the appeal court, considering Adeleke's overvoting but what happened shouldn't have happened in the first place regardless of overvoting because prior to that, the confidence was high and Oyetola was the incumbent.

Also, Yesterday's flag off where a senator died. All these are pointing to one thing which is a need for change of the double Muslim Muslim ticket. Or at least a quasi role.

I am a catholic and married to Anglican. We are both from Anambra. But, honestly my wife had to convert to catholic and all children have to be catholics.

The Yorubas don't have that religious problem.
I grew up with Yoruba children whose mothers were Christians while their fathers were Muslims. Some of the children will grow up to be Muslims while some will be Christians. Even if anyone of them grows up and decides to be a Sango worshipper ....no problem

Then vote Peter Obi because he is the only manageable person that have the capacity to challenge them. But if Peter Obi can't win it, then Atiku should just go ahead and win it rather than that old druggie.

Tinubu doesn't seem like a religious bigot, but him picking Shettima highlights his desperation for Arewa Muslims votes and a disregard for the Christian minority. His choice for a running mate in Shettima also scares most people.

I for one don't know why the uproar over his choice of VP. Politicians are not good ambassadors for religion. To save yourself heart ache, consider all of them as atheist because if any of them were following the teachings in the Bible or Koran, the country will be in a better state.

Tinubu remains the best candidate in my opinion. But I don't think he has the strength anymore for the rigours involved with being a Nigerian president.

How assured is such a deceptive assurance?!
