Nope....what you want is Kumuyi to support your candidate.

Since he is not supporting your candidate, therefore God is bad.

Good governance is more than voting someone into Aso Rock, it is also about the vote in your local government, state and national assembly, and it is about you agitating for better governance at all time.

Like all them civil rights leaders in the USA....they agitated for better governance for black people at all levels. Many of them were religious leaders and christians and even other religions. And the leaders they were confronting were in many ways racist and anti-black...yet they listened, and then they started doing the right thing...and change came.

So, stop complaining, and take part in the democratic process, and be the change. Atheist or theist...wake up and PARTICIPATE. Good governance is a hard job.

Good evening.

Modified.

There is a story in the bible about a judge who feared neither God nor man. A woman , a poor woman came to him asking for justice. He did not listen to her at first...but as time went on, and the woman kept on coming and agitating and asking....he woke up, and did his job.

That is how government works. Not by change (and no, I don't want tinubu in aso rock) but by a simple process of asking your local leader or official to TO TO DO HIS OR HER JOB. Revolution happens when the judges do not listen to the poor women.

The General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Dr William Kumuyi, says he will neither recommend nor disqualify any political party ahead of the 2023 polls for choosing to have a Muslim – Muslim ticket.

* Says he will leave everything to the hands of God and allow the people choose their leader themselves.

Why are christian leaders like this. Why why why. Never will a Islam cleric sit on the fence in a Christian christian ticket. They will preach it and take sides. But here we are christians always preaching what they don't practice. I believe you always stand on the fence on all issues. I remember when all of you so called pastors were saying all sorts of conspiracy theories and taking sides during coronavirus.

It is very wrong for a country to have a Muslim Muslim to ticket. A time shall come we will have a northern northern ticket. It's just a matter of time.
Wait a second! Are you under some sort of delusion that the Kingdom of God is in some sort of competition with the kingdom of Mohammed? undecided

Also, did you not even know that Jesus Christ warned His followers to steer clear of the politics of this world means that any one who spews his or her political opinion as though it is of God sins against God? undecided

Actually, as Christians, we should take part in politics ....even act as the conscience of the nation.

Or what do you think that people like Jeremiah and Amos were doing? It wasn't just religion...it was agitating that the people and their rulers do the right thing.

The problem with Christians in politics in Nigeria...is that we have gotten wedded to the man as the saviour...rather than 1) living as lights wherever we are 2) agitating for better governance instead of waiting to vote out bad leaders.

What christians should do is to form a group of people in their neighbourhood, and march to the local government chairman and ask him to do something about the road in their area. But that's not as spectacular as figthing the forces of evil by voting for the 'right' candidate.

After seven years of APC fails?

It's just sad that the options we have are PDP, and PDP lite pretending to be a Sowore. Still, I doubt a lot of people would be revoting APC next year.

Very sensible comment from Baba Kumuyi. God work in mysterious ways and can’t be preempted. If God want to use Tinubu/Shettima to reset the path of this country to good, nobody can stop the ticket.

God used Tinubu to reset Lagos, he will use the same Tinubu to reset Nigeria. With Tinubu, Nigeria is on the path to progress and shared prosperity. Asiwaju is coming.
So in your warped big head Lagos is a state that has been reset?

1. First thing first, you need to understand the separation between the Old Covenant Law of Moses - the National Constitution of the State of Israel in the Land of Canaan, YHWH - as given by God to the children of Israel - those who have the blood of Jacob coursing through their veins as explained in Deuteronomy 30 vs 15 - 20 from God's New Covenant Law and Truth in the Kingdom of God, Jesus Christ, as given by God as an agreement between individual men - Matthew 26 vs 28 - 30 - a Constitution for a kingdom that is not of this world. undecided

Jeremiah and Amos were called according to God's Old Law whereas you are called according to Jesus Christ, God's new Covenant for a separate Kingdom and so you should in no way compare yourself with those of Old since you are not of Israel nor do you reside in the land of Canaan among them. undecided

2. The major problem with Christians in Nigeria is they don't understand what it means to be Christians and so they delude themselves by following pagan ideas that are fed to them by their equally ignorant pastors and mogs using the name of God. undecided

No one who is a follower of Jesus Christ would pretend that his/her personal opinions regarding the politics of this world have anything to do with God or Jesus Christ - Matthew 20 vs 20 -28. So, if they choose to, as individuals engage, they know to keep the mention of God and Jesus Christ out of such moves. undecided

3. Wrong! Instead, spend time understanding what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ so you can better navigate your own Christian life apart from the worries and issues of this world. undecided

There are no forces of evil for a follower of Jesus Christ to fight, and no battles to engage in because Jesus Christ already overcame the world, granting His followers peace even through all suffering and tribulations, from the very beginning. so this delusion that Christians fight battles is just that.. delusions and nothing more. undecided

Any Christian that vote Muslim Muslim ticket is Antichrist.
He/She has denied Christ and Christ will deny him/ her on the judgement day.
Northern Muslims are not like SW Muslims
Any person who pretends to cast his vote as a Christian is already antichrist since Jesus Christ made it abundantly clear that the politics of this world has absolutely nothing to do with the Kingdom of God. So those who reject what Jesus Christ teaches in order to assert their own way instead are all antiChrists. undecided

Remember that Jesus was also
1.Chasing out the moneylenders from the Temple.

2.Calling on sinners to repent...which when applied to a political or government leader is a political statement.

3.Also, many of the early Christian martyrs were making a political statement by refusing to sacrifice to Caesar . That was in violation of the rules of the Roman empire.

A Christian is called to respect the government...but also, to do what is right and just. That principle is seared throughout the bible.

If that is not a call for righteousness in everything...including governance, what is? Or is Jesus lord of all our lives or some of our lives.?

Or are we pretending that there are no christians in government right now, and in the past?

2. The major problem with Christians in Nigeria is they don't understand what it means to be Christians and so they delude themselves by following pagan ideas that are fed to them by their equally ignorant pastors and mogs using the name of God. undecided

Yes, that is true...but it does not stop us from making sure that a government is held up to do justly.

Like James the Just , who was martyred for calling for just government, among other things.

3. Wrong! Instead, spend time understanding what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ so you can better navigate your own Christian life apart from the worries and issues of this world. undecided
[/quote]Yes, and that means doing the right thing as Christian government official or christian leader, or calling on your leaders to do the right thing.

God works in an interesting way by allowing Tinubu to go for Mu-Mu ticket. Kumuyi will never involve inpolitics so that was his diplomatic answer. He is never going to tell his members to vote in any particular way but we would not give leadership to people that do not respect our God. After INEC cleans the register, Tinubu will come 5th behind Sowore.

So our religious opinion does not count? Will God not use humans to install our political leaders?

At a time we needed many of our pentecostal leaders to take a stand for the same religion they have been teaching, they suddenly developed cold feets. May Gpd bless those taking a stand at this time
For the umpteenth time, Jesus Christ warned His followers not to engage themselves in the politicking of the world, and so whoever is installed as a political leader should not be your concern as a Christian. If as an individual you care, then go for it but never as a Christian. undecided

The lies they have fed you a lot are what led you here in the first place, attempting to hold on to God with your left hand while you drag the world strongly along with your right. undecided
