If no sex in that relationship it means you guys are just platonic friends.

Even legally sex is needed to make a marriage valid.

Sex is key in every relationship. I can't date without sex.. Infact some of the girls I've dated we started with sex. When the sex was good they decided to keep me. I always tell every girl I meet I can't date without sex so if your not offering me sex please pass.

It depends but a marriage can't survive without sex.
Some yet to be married partners can also choose to leave out sex until they get married. . .
So it really depends on individual needs or wants. But most people can't do without sex in relationship
