Hello house. So I was on an application spree some weeks back. Got some invitations here and there although it didn't go further than that. But there is this particular client that is still messaging me. Two Mondays ago, She sent an invite to a test which had a deadline of 2hrs by 7am. I saw it at noon. Didn't engage due to it being too late. Last week, she messaged me if I'm still interested in the job. I affirmed but she didn't reply me again. She finally replied this morning that it's still open.

The question now is do you think it's a scam? Payment method is verified and they also have hires on other posted jobs.

Of all the other freelancers that applied, they couldn't find a 'perfect fit'?

Any activities that leads to money leaving my own pocket is a scam, but a always read Client reviews from previous freelancers......................................assuming the reviews are not bought.

if they tell you to pay for anything or use your cash to pay for something na scam.

Please anybody with an idea of how to go about a suspended account?

Recently, my account was restricted and was asked to verify identity. After much trying, I was able to verify it using the digital NIN card. Immediately, after verifying, I saw the notification of account suspended and was asked to reach out to support center.
I reached out to the support center and was told that my issue would be forwarded to the team that should handle such issue but till now no show.

You cannot get Upwork jobs as a Nigerian because they look at us like scammers and underachievers...You will even see it in some jobs posted that Nigerians, Pakistanis and Indians should not apply.

The best way is to open a USA or UK profile with Caucasian picture and load it with IT skills which they will believe and you will get jobs immediately because of the profile.

I have always been a fiverr person but fiverr is really becoming less and less lucrative.

Upwork has more jobs with better pay but I don't get a reply after submitting a proposal.

Not a single proposal accepted, only jobs I've gotten this month have been by invites and I haven't changed my proposal style so maybe they're not seeing it?
I've also noticed that most jobs get 20-50 proposals within 10 minutes, after 10 minutes forget it, it'll have over 50 proposals
