Down here in Rivers state, our health sector is in perilous state. Ditto the educational sector. The only area Wike seem to be fixated on is overhead bridges. The mother to child hospital that was built in partnership with NDDC is under lock and key one year after commissioning. The mile 1 market that was built over 5years ago is under lock and key after çommisioning. I won't be surprised if same fate won't afflict the Peter Odili Cancer and cardiovascular Center. Wike has not employed doctors, nurses and other health professional since he assumed duty as governor.

Go to Bori the health center is in comatose. Go to Ogba Ngbema Ndoni, there Health center hasn't been completed. Go to Degema, grasses has overtaken the premises of the health center.

Wike priority has only been on roads and overhead bridges. No emphasis on human capacity development. The Agricultural sector in Rivers state is prostrate. The Cassava processing plants that shell built for the state government is a shadow of itself. After çommisioning, the facility is under lock and key.

It could be that other South South state is prioritizing other areas that wouldn't involve showmanship as is the case with Wike over-inflated overhead bridges.
