Please anyone knows how many days to receive stamped passport back after submission?

I have seen different timelines on this thread overtime.
From 1 week to 2 weeks and some past 2 weeks.
I think drop off VFS location contributes to the timeline difference.
Sent mine to VFS Lagos and got a mail from them stating that it had been received and sent to VFS Abuja for processing.

This cropped part of my mail convo with VFS may help, plus I feel like it's same requirement.

DHL will give you a print out containing your tracking number, This will not reflect on their tracking portal till after 24hours of your drop off at their office. Afterward it wil reflect and you can see update till it is delivered to VFS.

If you mean reprinting a lost slip, you might need to contact VFS cos I'm not aware.
If it's not a reprint, yes they still give out that long yellowish slip after biometrics.
My conversations with them are usually via their chat service, just chat them and get first hand info.

Do you have any experience applying to defer admission date? I have recently been admitted to Centennial college, May 2023 intake... But an unforeseen circumstance unfolded and I want to move my admission to September 2023...

I have sent several emails to the school about this but I have not received any feedback since i started pursuing to defer the admission date.

Any tips on how to quickly get this done?

I also got a generic response like this once, but I kept sending emails and webforms

Here's a sample;

Subject: URGENT| STUDY PERMIT APPLICATION

Hello Visa Officer,

I appreciate your effort towards my application. However, since my medical examination was passed, I haven't received any update regarding my application for more than a month now which has become of great worry to me.

My classes will be resuming very soon and as an international student it is advisable to arrive before the start of class in order to get settled in and prepare adequately for the semester ahead most especially this forthcoming winter semester.

Please I would really appreciate a timely response on my application so as to finalize my travel plans, thank you.

Applicant info;
UCI:
APPLICATION NUMBER:
Best Regards,
.......

I tweak my words sometimes though so it doesn't feel too repetitive. Hope this helps, goodluck.

Please I want to know if it will be too early to start sending mails to them as my application is a month plus now and my resumption date is January... Any advice on this?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Teeebabyyy: 8:31am On Nov 20, 2022
It's not too early atall, except you don't plan on resuming in January. If you leave ircc, they'll sleep on your application.

I would advice you start bombarding them with emails and webforms.

Send twice a day(morning and night) make it a daily routine.

Target mostly Nairobi,London and accra offices

Goodluck!

Not really but it's Ontario and I believe if you engage her in the comment section, she might respond.

Morning, for the kids 2 signed copies of the consent form, 2 photocopies of their passport page, print out of receipt of the transmission fee paid, PPR request and their passport.

Hello guys, please I have a question.

A brother is going for a PhD program at one University in Canada.

He got a funding of $19,921 CAD.

He will pay the sum of $7k+ for tuition and $2k for all other expenses.
In short, all the school expenses including small small money is $9,800 CAD/year.

This implies that he would be left with $10k+ yearly.

The question is; does he still need to present a bank statement? If yes, how much?

Thank you very much.

University of Victoria

By the way, which other expenses should be covered?

These are the expenses:

Tuition for each semester = $2,639.50
Athletics = $92.46
GSS Bus Pass = $81.00
Graduate Student Society = $95.25
GSS Dental Plan = $284.55
GSS Extended Health Plan = $409.00
Mandatory Medical Insurance = $265.00

Therefore, the person would pay the following for each term;
Fall Term = $3,866.76
Winter Term = $2,908.21
Summer Term = $2,908.21
Average for a year = $9,683.18

So, the person is left with $10,000+

Is there any other fee to show funding for?

All Canadian universities/colleges are on IRCC. There you can verify the school and confirm if it's a DLI before you apply to them.

Here's the link.

Could you expatiate on what you mean by “hanging”?
Do you mean the money did not hit the recipient account timely?

Paymytuiton has sent my receipt that my payment has reached my school but on my application portal on Bow valley college it is still saying payment not received for 5 days now

hi all, another quick question pls.

will it make more sense to start processing my transcript via WES while still waiting/searching to get admission just to avoid the unnecessary wait?

I believe the school will get it by next week.
My last/second payment on the portal was also delayed. I was so worried that I sent an email but was asked to allow more days.
