Hello everyone. New follower of this thread.

I'm just about to start this Canada study process and i really want to get it right from the start, so i need honest and expert advise please.

I would like to apply with my family, that is my husband and 1 child (2years old). I am a graduate of Economics ( BSc. 2012), Chartered Accountant (ACA 2018), and i've been working as a professional Accountant since 2015. I am intending to apply for a post graduate certificate course (1 year) in Business Administration (I chose this 1 year course majorly because i can only have funds to cover our 1 yr living expense and my tuition balance + flight costs). Is this a good decision especially since i'll be applying as a family? Or can i go for a 2 yr program and just provide explanation on how i intend to come up with the second year tuition and living expense?

Also, someone told me it isn't advisable for someone applying for their family to go for a 1 yr program. How true is this?

Kindly advise.

Hello Fam, been a while how is everyone doing? To all PPR hopefuls keep hopes alive it will come and it will be worth the wait.
@frankrobben1, vibrant99, frank and all the galant gurus. My sister currently got admission to seneca college to study chain supply management coop, now i have two questions. I am currently rounding up my masters program at mcgill and my family already joined me. Is it adviseable i sponsor her by using my account statement or i just pay her 1st term tuition? She is an agriculturist but have worked in a logistics and shipping company for 3years and is the manager of a branch. The school is requesting for 8k cad for her to reserve her seat and it will lapse on december 9th.
Also do they refund in case of visa denial becos she already mailed them but no response.
Abeg make unah answer me nah please @ richard, gcms writers please its urgent, @ frankrobben1 and all other gurus

Well, ircc requirement is to show pof for 1yr . You can now further show dem proof that u won’t be financially crippled for the rest of d years without working in Canada
Thomsyne:

Given your response,

Living exp for 3 years = 30k CAD
Tution = 19800 or 20k sha

Total 50k CAD. By CBN’s rate, this is about 16.5M.

So the 12M might not work. You’ll need to back this up with something else

Wish you all the best

Good morning friends, please how long on the average does the payment of tuition fee via the CBN's trade monitoring system (Form A) to go through? I have about two weeks remaining to pay a 10,000CAD tuition fee to a Canadian polytechnic and I earlier planned using the above system because of lower exchange rates.

Hello good morning,

I applied for a graduate certificate at Fanshawe College, London ON through applyboard and have just gotten an acceptance letter and all this was done without an agent. but I’ve been going through the timeline and I’m seeing that fansahwe requires a college approved agent from Nigeria for such processes.

Would this in anyway affect my acceptance or my visa processing ?

Applyboard is your agent in this case.

Paymytuiton has sent my receipt that my payment has reached my school but on my application portal on Bow valley college it is still saying payment not received for 5 days now

That’s serious o.
I suggest you chat with an agent. That was what I did when my payment was delayed.

Hello Guys,

My Study permit application got approved on Thursday.

I'm grateful to God, so excited and so happy.

I'm available to answer any questions as well as render assistance for new applicants.

Meanwhile, i'm reading through chats to know how to submit my passport to Vfs for stamping. I did Biometrics in Lagos, i was thinking i could submit in person.

Sorry about your refusal.
First start with the reason statements made, tackle them and the add other supporting documents before you reapply.

*There's a reason people pay all or part of their tuition fee, this is to show you're genuinely going to study.
*Submitting POF without proof of how the account holder managed to amass such amount is a no no, that's why people attach employment letters, promotion letters, letter of introduction, business registration documents etc.
*Having a sponsor without proving how you're related or connected with the person is a no no, that's why people upload family pictures, sponsors int'l passports, birth certificates, affidavits of sponsorship etc.
*For POF it's preferable to use MBS as against the printed and stamped statement, this is so that it is sent to IRCC directly and not the one you print, reduce its size and it becomes too blurry to read.

Repackage and refire

Good luck

Hello everyone,

Please can someone advise me on what to do. My Form A application was updated to ADB rejected because I didn’t submit letter of authorization to debit. How do I attach this to my current application? And does this mean the process will start all over again?
