Largerbeer was good too, but he spent a very short time. His team really played well if not for Yakubu and Kaita who decided to show their own craze grin

But make we tell ourselves the truth, the NFF can't afford a top quality coach now. As for me, we can find a young low budget coach ready to build his cv. Like when Renard was still coaching Zambia, right now, we no fit afford am.
didn’t mention Lager cos I feel his time was too short. we can appoint upcoming brilliant young foreign coaches like you said we can also appoint the best local coaches and not clueless exinternationals, Kadiri Ikhana at the height of his fame should have been made the national team coach but we had clueless coaches like Chukwu and Eguavoen. Amodu aside we’ve never appointed a proper local coach.

I doff my hat to the Carthage Eagles. They exceeded expectations. In a game where they were expected to lose, coming away with a point is huge. Final day of group stage will be Interesting.

They where so good in everything ,from defense to GK

The danish defense was also good that’s why we didn’t see a Tunisia win

Now watch how Morocco will do against Croatia tomorrow

Big 1 point for Tunisia. They just need to beat Australia in their next match.

If we arrange friendly with this Saudi team. sE go colet 4 like.
Simon go wan exchange Jersey with Aldawsari
Uzoho go dey laugh after 90mins
And why do you think that is?

Because these useless idiots know that whether they play well or not, they'll still be invited. Nobody is ensuring these idiots are accountable. Some idiots in the glass house have nutured some untouchables in the national team

I don't care who you fucking are, your exploits in Europe or what club you play for, once you don your National team colors, you ought to bring your A game, see every National team games as sacred and be prepared to die on the pitch if need be because your performances on that pitch shapes the opinion of other nations about your people as a whole

It's so annoying

Pray tell, what did you learn from today's matches so far

The painful thing is that our star studded super eagles might not score a single goal against Argentina

They will be twerking for Messi and co

Did you watch the Mexico vs Hb nigeria game? It was an eyesore!!!! I repeat what we have is a coaching problem, simple. A good coach will use what he has or find what he needs, that's all!!! Westerhoff decided he wasn't going to use Owubokiri or Obiku in those days despite their great performances. Westerhoff decided Yekini would bench an england based Efan Ekoku, he decided an inform Nwanu is better than an experienced Keshi. Keshi also decided to go with an inexperienced Omeruo/Oboabona over Yobo and countless other examples in his title winning quest. I strongly believe if we have the right coach, I don't care if the person is a foreigner or Nigerian, we would achieve great things either with these same set of players or new additions in some areas.

And it is not certain that Tunisia will beat Australia. Remember, the Kangaroos are a competitive team. If they beat Australia, they will have to beat them by a larger margin than Denmark.

Your head dey dia. I recently heard our VP do like a karaoke of Asake's song, then I went to hear the song. Our answer is in that song,
Organize, every other day I organize
Some of us are wise every other day we organize

I rest my case.

We learnt that you cannot bank on a one off result to make the argument you are advancing. When Saudi Arabia consistently wins with this crop of players, then maybe you can advance this argument and even at that the question is would Saudi Arabia pick these players if it has players littered all over the elite leagues in Europe? Brazil is your answer.

The point I was driving at was that it doesn't take stars and top leagues to carry out a good plan.

Not just Saudi but Tunisia.

These matches is an indictment on our football because it is either our players are too blockheaded to interpret and play their coach's plan

Or the coach is pretty clueless and has no plans

Which do you think

the coach is there to collect his salary...

whether the S.E plays well or not they will continue to invite the same players maybe its true that they pay to play... Dennis after his arrogance and disrespect to the team will still be invited..

the players have become lackadaisical because they know they will always be invited and no one can bench them...

Can a player like Dennis play according to the coach's planhuh

its the same formation and players Eguavoen used that Poseiro is also using...

Another thing is relying too much on Moses Simon as if his the all time highest goalscorer... remove Moses Simon from starting 11 or the team entirely and let Ndidi play CB or bench him and you'll see a different S.E
