I recently got 3 little banana/plantain trees but don't know if to plant it in my banana plantation or plantain plantation?

I can't Differentiate the 2.

Banana leaves are thicker and waxy in nature. Compared to Plantain.

I'm still confused, chief. I just touched the two leaves, but still couldn't notice any difference honestly.

IMO, the plantain leaves are much wider, while that of the banana is slim. But the problem is that the tree I'm having now is still small which makes it hard to tell which it is.

At the pics below, first is Plantain, second is Banana.

Just now, I noticed that the 3 suckers are kind of curved while that of the plantain is straight. I maybe wrong though

while plantain has wider leaves with no whitish substance


Banana tends to have slimer and longer stem

while plantain's stem is always stouter

Banana have dark red patches.

Was it stolen that you can't identify them from the stock you got it from. Anyways just chew the leaves the one that tastes sugary is banana.
