JASONjnr: To me, it can't work that way. These are my reasons. 1. Atiku has no power to remove Ayu and he can't force him to resign. 2. If Atiku involve himself in plan to remove Ayu, it will be disastrous to him because it will create room for bigger crises. 3. The numbers of the PDP governors and members supporting the move are too small to rely on by Atiku. It will create a very big problem for him. 4. If Ayu resigns now, his deputy is supposed to assume the position of the chairman and he is also a northerner from Atiku zone. Will the vice also be asked to withdraw? 5. The crises can't be easily settled just like that because of the way Wike is handling things. He has gone extra mile that majority of the party are not supporting him and if Ayu steps down or Atiku makes any move in that respect. Many of the chieftains will back off. This is one of the major reasons why the G-5 are not getting more members in their support. For your information, I am not a member of the PDP or any political party but I just like to analyze political issues without being bias. 1 Like |
