with van gaal it’s possible that the Dutch can win the Argies

I foresee him starting atalanta’s koopmieners in order to follow Messi around then hit them on counter as he did few hours ago against the US

It will be difficult for Argentina to curtail the flanks of the Dutch
The permutations of this world cup is Argentina's best in a while. The cup would've been theirs if they had the kind of squad they fielded in previous editions.

Unfortunately, their squad is as soft as their path to the finals, so things will still be quite difficult for them.

here we go again! It’s not about playing pretty but achieving the main aim which is atleast reaching the semi finals of the afcon and qualifying for the World Cup

I can bet my life that if rohr was in charge of the team at the afcon and against Ghana the team wouldn’t hv played the best of football but make it to atleast the semis of the afcon as well as qualify for the World Cup
It took Ndidi's last minute block to rescue our play off dream. We had our heart on our sleeve in the last 10 minutes in our home against Cape Verde. What are you saying bro. That team will never defeat Egypt. That team will never win Tunisia with 10 men. Facts.

baba forget ndidi last 10 minutes block. That’s why he is in the team and if another player was in his position he would hv made the same block

Like I said the team wouldn’t hv played pretty under rohr at the afcon and World Cup qualifiers but would hv done better than eguavoen

Thank God he knew.... We can now breathe some fresh air.

I was told there was a shakeup in the U20 coaching staff. Jolomi Atune was dismissed? What really happened?

I sense that Gusau will soon change Waldrum & Jpes with time. He is restructuring the U20 flying eagles team and would soon face others

I think the proper thing for Gusau to do now is to clear up the backlog of unpaid salaries, bonus and allowances Pinnick's administration owes coaches and players... Then he can talk about bringing in his own people...

Years and years after, we are still having issue of owing coaches and players...

Argentina vs Australia will be the first game to be decided on penalties.

0-0 or 1-1 draw. Put your life savings on a draw!

I'm still trying to understand Lautaro's current loss of form. He's been terrible in this tournament.

Careful what you bet with...
I remind you again, that you supported Rohr sack...

If Rohr could lost to CAR, blow a 4-0 leas fo Sierra Leone and struggle against Benin republic all at home, what make you think he would have survived Ghana? Let's be clear,we didn't lose the world cup ticket to Ghana because they were better..A series of unfortunate events played a part..like Ndidi and Iwobi's absence and Uzoho's blunders...Plus the match was a derby.. Derbies can go either way regardless of the form of either teams...

Didn’t mention france because I don’t think any World Cup winner hv ever replicated the same feat in terms of winning it back to back in the history of the competition though they stand a chance to be the first to achieve that

Outclassed with two shots on target. Taa! We even had two VAR decisions against us. The canceled Penalty in Accra and the Oshimen offside goal. Imagine Ghana without Partey and Kudus against our full team and we having two shots on target. Will you call that Outclassed? Be sincerely!

lol outclassing the opposition tactically doesn’t mean you must hv more possession and shots on goal. For him to hold our team and forced them to play the way that suits his team is what I meant by outclassing eguavoen

Egu had no answer to what addo threw at him and kept on going the same direction until the final whistle cheesy

I remember years back in a ucl game against inter and Barca in both legs inter tinkered by Jose mourinho had less of the ball and possession but went on to cause an upset by winning a feared and star studded Barca team that was coached by pep.

Jose’s tactics especially the one he deployed against the Catalans at Nou camp is till date recorded as one of the greatest tactical masterclass in world football

Go and rewatch the game against gh especially the second leg held in abj you will understand what I am trying to say

It was very easy for the ghanaians to figure out that the strength of egu’s team was the flanks which was obvious to even a lay man and addo went ahead to shut both flanks down as well as keep an eye on osimhen which they did perfectly well and made our team bereft of ideas.

What addo wanted in that game was just to hold the super eagles to a draw then head to penalties which can go either way

If that game was played for 180 mins the super eagles wouldn’t hv scored in open play

I bet you that if the super eagles scored first egu and his boys would hv won that game with atleast 3 goals to nothing

Who told you no one is tipping Portugal?

A team with the best squad aside france and Brazil

Bros no go there ok

Portugal and damn good ,their coach is questionable though

They are more of a favorite than Argentina and Brazil ,but we ain’t ready for this conversation

As it is now I only put them behind France

If you study the team their midfield is more stable when when ever he plays fulham’s palinha instead of wolves neves whose only attribute is long range shots cheesy

But will rather stick to neves and the other one who plays in laliga side Betis

you are right but instincts even before the World Cup started hv been telling me that this is Messi and Argentina’s year

Not that they hv been the best team in this years World Cup but I keep on having that feeling that they may win it this time around

Joao palinha is a fucking baller

Dalot needs to be starting at RB due to is current sweet form

Cancelo should go play LB

Rafael leao is not serious

palinha covers more ground and a natural ball winner than neves

Leao is one of the most unserious footballer in this generation. Too lackadaisical to my liking with poor work rate

Chelsea will be making a huge mistake if truly they want to sign him

We wouldn't have scored because we lacked the personnel on the bench not because Addo is tactical. All our midfielders were out due to injuries. Shehu had to play DM when no one was available. Cape Verde had Rohr team on the back foot throughout the 2nd half while Ghana could not even pass the midfield against a team without midfielders. Otto did nothing. He was just lucky! Simple.
