Not similar to Rohr at all... Rohr's was ultra defensive and anywhere Belle face tactic.

Why we are calling for the right tactics.and ballers in every positions. Rohr formations were never bad though. He only lacked tactically.

Only ballers we have in defence is Aina and Bassey, Midfield just Iwobi, Attack Lookman Osimehn and chuks finish. I don't include Simon cos he's clueless and not often a team player.

We're still saying the same thing. Japan's tactic is different from Rohr's.

Agree 100% Senegal really pushed them for the first 30 minutes until Henderson's goal.

I thought I was the only one who noticed the handball. Honestly it's an absolute joke with all these inconsistent VAR calls.

As for France beating England that's possible but the yeye 3 lions might just park the bus and hit on counter like they deployed at the 2020 Euros.

That ball was not a handball na. It's not everytime the ball touches a players hands that it amounts to an handball. It is even debatable if that ball touched Stone's hand.

Bellingham is a problem in that midfield o
That guy is the engine behind England's run so far

Philosopher1979:

See the France 98 team was just a version of the Atlanta 96 team but by then indiscipline had set in and we went to the world cup with a new coach that was hired just 3 months before the.
In 2002 we got tired of the indiscipline and sacked Most of them and the young players couldn't do much
In 2006 we did not qualify because our best players did not play some of the qualifying matches out of overconfidence.
If we had been disciplined a world cup semi final was sure.
Also remember we were banned from the 96 and 98 nation's cup and so could not develop the Atlanta 96 team properly.
The players were indisciplined and badly managed with frequent change of coaches and personality clashes that's all
The point is that we have qualified more times than we did not. Say whatever you want, the fact is that we don't have stellar WC record. Even if we had qualified, I doubt if we'd have gone beyond second round.

That's your opinion and I respect it. For me, Jude is just another English player getting unnecessary hyped.
He is not hyped. He's real quality. Abi you are not watching him? I don't like Mbappe but I can't deny his superlative performance. Jude is good, really good.

I am not surprised with Japan and South Korea's recent improvements in football. Both countries have highly advanced economies and stability that is on par with Western European nations. It was only a matter of time that this was going to translate into sporting success.

Can we get a Japanese coach (lol). This current Japanese coach has really drilled the team well. Japanese and discipline na 5&6, any lazy player will be kicked out and you can be sure of the coach's commitment.

How did I misquote you? You said he's another English player who is hyped. I said he's not and went further to buttress my point by saying that he's quite good. Rather you are the one misquoting me because I never suggested that you said he's not good. My objection was to your assertion that he's hyped.

We should get our own to coach us. Nothing special abt the coach. Na Austin Equ formula he is using. Wing play and crosses.

When somebody is hyped, it doesn't mean he is not good. He is just getting a lot of praises more than he deserved. That's it.

A number of them do speak English though cos of their close business relationship with the US. Or maybe an Eastern European, from Croatia or Serbia, an Italian omo-ita too wouldn't be bad.
